Very cool Joe! Since the Explorer K2 is quite affordable (and therefore popular), have you considered producing and selling your design as complete ready-to-mount kit?
These people that tell your your not allowed to paddle are lying to you, there's nothing they can do as its not enforced so just ignore them, do not allow them to bully you. Great video by the way with the trolling motor.
Would you be willing to share the file for your finbox adapter? I'm looking for something like that to attached my Subnado to this same kayak. I really only need the part that fits into the finbox as the connection to the Subnado would be different.
@Joe Brown you got kicked out of a nearby pond, too. It's good to know there are karens everywhere. I just got kicked off of a paved leisure trail for inline skating. There are no signs or anything to say I can't though. Oh well, can't win them all
Nice job. So many questions.. I’ll keep it brief. What’s the duty cycle on that motor and can I get a link to the purchase page. Have you trialed this in calm seas ? Would you be able to profile my skeg fin for adaption if I pay you ? Happy Yakin 🛶
Great Job Joe. Really nice to see creative engineering take to the water.
Cheers Glenn, need to make a fold up one now!
This was awesome, thanks for posting you have inspired me to do something similar!

Great, can you share your CAD to 3D print it?
Awesome! Just need a couple of pecking heads on the front now 👌

This is awesome, I am going to try this myself, not on the K2 but the bigger one.

joe was that review filmed in bristol
u from Bristol ?I got the same idea as you with my itiwit kayak
My man from Bristol too 💪
The esc prob burnt out because its a 12v. You used 4s batts that are 16.5v. Looks good though.
What is your final say on the speed on the life of the battery for the kayak?
But still going to try it.. : )
Nice!
Over time I see this tearing the kayak where the fin is mounted.
Now try 12S
Supposedly the motors rated for 24V and loses its waterproofing oils at higher speeds??
@@JoeBrown1 Lies to suppress the masses
@@rapidrory oh and at max speed I can already feel the base flexing :P
Need a license to paddle around in an inflatable kayak😮😮😮
In the harbour yes, in nearby rivers nope
@@JoeBrown1 either way, that's crazy
