I bought the set in 1981. Hooked to the sink until I converted it to permanent hookup. Worked great for several years. Sold it when I moved out of state. Being small it was easy to move when I changed apartments. Wish they were still available.
I have the exact same washer, had it since 1998, I have to replace now because I'm having issues with it spinning and I don't think the parts are available any longer, wish they were i like my machine better than these new ones they have out now.
It’s a shame if you need a portable because the last newer top load I owned was pretty marginal; my Duet front load washer is the best washing machine I’ve ever owned.
@@abcsd1254 I loved my Kenmore lasted over 20 years, not a fan of the newer machines so now looking for a new one, hey do you remember what the cu ft on that Kenmore was?, I lost my manual I called Kenmore and gave them the model number they said it was 3.2, but I think that was a mistake that machine looks smaller than that.
@@abcsd1254 I forgot to ask you what was the name of the newer top load machine that you mentioned was marginal, I want to make sure I don't purchase that one, also I'm going to take a look at the Duet
The one I used to have was a permanent hookup and right after the water was completely drained out of the machine, the drain hose always violently jump up and down and kept doing so into the spin cycle. anyone ever seen that before?

I had the Whirlpool version, nice little machines.
In brazil this machine is called brastemp mondial
The washer sounds like it's marching.
That spin cycle looks pretty fast to me, for it to be a small Kenmore machine.

Anybody know where I can get one of these washers?
Found one someone threw awaw works perfect except very loud on spin. Clothes come out very clean n dry. Does it need grease/ oil and where.
Does anyone know the spin speed on this, I’d imagine a bit higher than the direct drives of that day
could you do one that shows the loading
of the machine
I had one that was a year older.
Hi where does the water come out from
Fills from the bottom of the tub
i have a similar washer but whirlpool version!
What kind of camera did you film this with?
Filmed with a cell phone camera!
+abcsd1254 Yay!
Is that agitator loose ?
I believe it's bolted to the shaft on this model
The wobble throws me off.
can you put a comforter in this washer machine
Amal Mcmillian I have not owned this machine for years. sorry. all I have are filterflos and a duet
Amal Mcmillian Yes..... I used mine like a normal capacity..it did a GREAT job..for years..till pump went out...
i have put one in mine i have the same washer but that might be the reason mine is leaking today
What size is this in cubic feet? ( Drum)
2.1
that looks like 400-500 rpms on that spin
Does it fill up from the bottom?
Bottom
abcsd1254 I just bought one and we have it connected to the shower. Did it take awhile to fill up ?
Not especially but I had it connected to full city water pressure using both hot and cold inlets
