- Genshin Impact version 4.5 has dropped another new Abyss 12! I showcase a 4 star only strategy for destroying this abyss 12 and also showcase a day 1 Neuvillette Speedrun. This Abyss 12 requires you to counter new mechanics thanks to the Veteran Arithmetic Enhancer Mek.

No more of those worms is already a blessing imo.
Worms are easier boss fights IMO since it's only timing windows and little less RNG-ey. I can't use my Rational there but it's the same on the current 12-3-2 boss unless RNJesus helped you for it to not up its shield after breaking it while facetanking it at the same time.
This one is alot harder for me I easily clear last abyss in a single turn but this one took me alot of turns I almost failed in floor 12 chamber 2 barely make it out of it on 7 min time frame

One thing regarding the Veteran Mek on 12-3-2: hitting it with a Pneuma attack after its shield is destroyed will cause it to enter a special stunned state. So, if you happen to bring a Fontaine character along, you don’t have to wait till just before the shield breaks to set up your rotation.
Edit: it’s powered by Ousia, so only Pneuma attacks work. Sorry Navia mains.

For floor 12 chamber 3 second half you can use any pneuma or ousia attack on the black orb of the veteran arithmetic mek after its shield is down. This will disable its Geo AOE attacks for a few seconds.

Hi, in this abyss I didn't want to think so much so I used Nahida, Yelan, Xinquiu and Kuki on the top , as for the botton was Bennet, Xiangling, Navia and Zhongli, super easy runs, no resets necessary and no problems at all.
Yeah I don't really understand why he says this is a hard one. Since there's no bosses with invul phases and weird mechanics it's just a pure dps check and if you have just 1 or 2 of the really good limited 5* dps (which includes more than half of them) you'll just breeze through.
With Yoi/Chiori/Yelan/Zhongli and Furina/Koko/Fischl/Kazuha it was about 60-90 seconds per floor. Definitely easier than the flying and digging worms in the last cycles ...
Thanks for the run through. Looking like maybe Navia will be pretty good on the 2nd half. First half is more tricky since I didn’t pull Neuvillette. I can still do triple off fielders (Yelan, Xingqiu, Furina) maybe with Noelle as a driver. That should be enough damage and hydro application lol.
It’s a little sad when you can’t use any and all teams to clear but I do find it more fun when it’s harder and you have to think a little.

First Half: Neuvillette, Furina, Jean, and Miko

i went in on 1st half with archon hyperbloom with yao yao and 2nd half navia hyper carry, it worked well( all of them are c0 except 4* char and all has 4* weapons. did it on my first try, no retry required)
I've only delved into the abyss once or twice so far and it's astonishes me how easy it was with a little bit of planning. Sure, I can't get past Floor 11 yet but I didn't expect getting 9 stars on Floor 10 with a Hyperbloom team (Geo MC-XQ-Raiden-Nahida) with only Raiden being built. Granted I did have half of an unbuilt Neuvilette Taser team on the second half.

Thought I'd unga bunga 1st half with furina triple hydro (+charlotte for freeze). Couldn't get 3* in wave 2. Came back with dehya chev raiden overload team to do the job but admittedly copellia wave got pretty dicey... chiori+noelle had fun in 2nd half. Nice challenging abyss this time~
It took me like 10+ times study the gravity device in the overworld, turn out overload is also excellent in destroying its shield
Overload destroys Geo shields real quickly since time immemorial, Geo Shieldwall Mitachurl and Stonehide Lawachurl in Liyue comes to mind. It became a thing of the past since Zhongli is introduced, and most players forget or don't know about that interaction existed since Overload is a less used reaction because of its bad DPS.

@@alport1331Shatter breaks geo-shields really quickly too. Too bad bosses are immune to freeze (a soft freeze for shatter on bosses would be nice)
@@crazybokoblin8638 Shh, that reaction doesn't exist. Kidding aside, it's a 3-layered (element) reaction like Burgeon/Hyperbloom but way way worst. I think it's a good concept but bad in practice and I hope Hoyo should at least rework it to bring a beneficial effect from it and just not remove enemies from Freeze state.

You have permanent plunge attack buff while the shield is up.
Just use any non catalyst character and plunge it away in a few seconds.
Pay attention to the nasty stuff on the ground though.
So we now can expect local legend in the abyss... At least it is not the dendro worm.

Honestly it's much better than the pesky worms last rotation. Purely a dps check no BS i-frames, which is not a problem for most of us.

Finally thanks to you got it to 36-stars and easily.
First half I had Neuvillette, Furina, Nahida and Jean.
In second half I had Navia, Zhongli, Yae Miko and Bennet.

I wish I had all those 4 star cons :( I am 3 months into the game now and I just can't get past 32 stars, because my 2nd team just can't pull it without any efficient elemental reaction. Artifacts are also such a mess with all the resin consumed by weapon and character upgrades... But there is alot to learn from your videos, appreciate it!

I'm used to running Kokomi - Fischl - Beidou - Kazuha for AoE sides, but since side 1 ends in a single boss I swapped Beidou for Yelan and it works a charm. With Raiden Nat. on the other side that's another 36* abyss under my belt.
I watch these vids and I realize I'm playing the game wrong. Idk how, but it's exciting to see how much further I need to go lol.

I used Neuvillette Hyperbloom/DMG in the first half, and Mono Geo (Chiori Remix) in the second half. It went reaaaly easy, but it was still fun! I like the fallen knights again
the team i used for the 12 chamber. the first team kazuha, fischl, raiden shogun, and sayu for healer. the second team was chevreuse, yelan, miss hu tao, and furina. i hope you get better soon.

I used hypercarry Raiden for the first half, and Navia/Yae/Furina/Xianyun for the 2nd and cleared on my phone. I thought it was fine but could see how this could be rough for a newer player.
Niveaulette vs Kazuha vs Arlecchino? Who would you recommend to pull for? I have Sucrose C2, but no good pyro/hydro star dps chars, no Xingqiu unfotunately. I have Ganyu as DPS, but no shielder lvld up.

@@natonaa9681 There are a lot of teams you can use, I just finished abyss minutes ago and just clinched 12-2-1 since Dendro Spectres are immune to Dendro. So I might suggest not using Nilou bloom on the top Half of 12 because you might lose time. Unless you have Baizhu on Clam like mine which really helped killing those Dendro Spectres with Physical Pop on its 4pc effect. Regarding on teams there are many but I will list my personal favorites.
1. Nahida/Nilou/Kokomi/Collei (good for frontloaded Dendro App and good for bloom generation) you could replace Collei with DMC it will just boils down in preferences
2. Nahida/Nilou/Kokomi/Baizhu for more comfy and relax playstyle since you receive good amounts of healing from both Kokomi and Baizhu not to mention that seamless shield is good too. For alternatives if you don't have Baizhu you could slot in Kirara for shielding instead of heals.
3. F2P team but still dominates DMC/Nilou/Kokomi/Collei if no Kokomi go for Barbara.

I actually found this abyss pretty fun. I was surprised that it was like elite+ mobs instead of over world bosses
This was the first time in a while I used Kokomi in abyss. The earthquakes and smoldering flames from the husks was a pain.

It's been a while since I 9 stared Abyss 12. Mind you, I'm a very casual abyss player, I usually only go through it once, and if I get 33 stars I'm good and won't repeat.
This time I got the 36 stars with just one repeat on floor 1.
This time I repeated floor one to get the 3 stars, since I first finish it 15 seconds too far. But floors 2 and 3 seemed pretty easy.
My teams: Kazuha/Raiden/Nahida/Kokomi and Zhongli/Hu-tao/Yelan/Xingqiu. Replaced Kazuha with Xiangling to repeat floor 1, for extra damage.
I haven't played since the element dendro came out is

I cleared it on two accounts with these teams, an interesting abyss cycle
Account 1:
Top half - Alhaitham Nahida Kuki Kokomi
Bottom half - Wriothesley Xiangling Bennett Furina (i brute forced the shield with pneuma mode furina, then used a normal attack to stun the local legend, 2 cycled it)
Account 2:
Top half - Alhaitham Nahida Kuki Yelan (unoriginal I know, can you tell I like alhaitham?)
Bottom half - Lyney Bennett Kazuha Zhongli (same strat as the vapemelt clear, except lyney is the pneuma trigger. use zhongli to break the shield)
The first half - C3 Sucroce, C6 Xingqiu, C2 Yelan, C0 Kokomi. The second half - C2 Raiden (C3 is not activated), C4 Fischl (C5 is not activated), C6 Xiangling, C5 Bennett with Skyward Blade (usually use Mistsplitter Reforged).
This abyss is relatively easy for me as there are no more stalling worms here that can cause many dps loss
First Half i use monohydro kokomi premium team (Kazuha + Kokomi + Yelan + C2 Furina)
Second Half i use wanderer hypercarry (Wanderer+ C6 Faruzan + Zhongli + Bennett)
Yep hydro is very favored in the first half

Thought Klee can break the geo shield, but had to restart and bring Zhongli. Zhongli finally useful again! Super fast shield break.

Your Bennet has a Def% crown is there a reason for that or an error?
So what im getting from this is that if I invest more into my bennett for raiden furina national since my furina and xiangling are top 3 and 15 percent on akasha I should be comfortably clearing floor one.
however for floor 2 my only team option is a tighnari spread with fischl beidou and dendro mc but I'm currently having a lot of trouble using fischl right now on golden troupe even in the previous abyss floor 10 coz I don't understand fishcl's mechanics. how would be a good rotation?
Fischl is pretty simple, you cast Oz, when he disappears you burst to summon him again, when he disappears you have your skill back so you just alternate skill/burst/skill/burst to always have him up

And here i am again with Nilou bloom team on first half and Navia on second half lol. But ngl the first half chamber 1 and 2 is pretty darn hard. Anyway this line up is fun then the previous spiral abyss..
I use Fast Equip on my Raiden EM and turn her into normal Emblem build with ATK goblet. I thought my Hyperbloom team was complete but damn I was wrong, I gain much more time after I use Emblem again 🗿
I already had trobles at 11-3-1 lmao, those two tainted talismans deal so much damage, luckily squishy tho

I used the exact same teams I have been using for months...I tried something new with Chirori but she did not shine all too well with Ningg dealing way more oddly enough.
My teams are:
Furina c2, Noelle c6, Yelenc4, Jean c2.
Keqing c2, Fischl c6, Sucrose c6, Yaoyao c2 (Yao polearm, was who plunged for me)
Much harder then past abyss runs but was more fun also, I like failing and needing to retry more then a brain dead 40s floor clear
Floor 11 felt like a 12th floor even, was great
I'm honestly a bit relieved. I thought with Chiori being in the game, they'd try and put Wolflord back into Floor 12. Also, get well soon

Is there a reason you run sapwood blade on bennett? Ive seen you run it before but im confused as to why you don't run sac. or fav. Sword instead.
EM buff to XL
Sac/Fav Sword have the lowest base ATK among 4 star swords. Benny's buff scales on his own base ATK and sapwood has the 2nd highest base ATK in all of 4 star swords

This abyss is actually very easy if ur not dumb like me and forget how the bosses work.
For first half I used : em raiden, nahida, kokomi, and dendro mc. Another team that works is dps raiden, cloud retainer, furina, and nahida.
Second half I used navia, zhongli, bennet and xiangling. Before that I tried diluc plunge team but I couldn’t get the timing to work. The team does great but I hv a skill issue apparently.
I...having the 2 most broken c0 dps's really make abyss a piece of cake. I used Al Haitham and Neuvilette with 3 5 stars in each team, (fishcl in neuvi and kuki in haitham are the only 4 stars). It's ridiculous.
Overlaod should be good against the last boss if you don't wanna use claymore users.
