      Hi Luke. It’s a really good investment at a good price for a machine which can do many jobs.

    That riding mower is a beast. I can’t believe it just cut everything down with no problem.

      It’s a very good machine. That is the smallest but is ideal to get in public paths etc. Where in the north do you work mate.

      @scottellwoodgardening287 . I used to work for a company before I went self-employed, we used have a 72inch Bobcat that would literally destroy everything! This was 30+ years ago though!

      It’s a huge blade underneath. It has taken one or 2 house bricks on rough areas where we can’t see them and smashed them to bits. It is one of my favourite bits of kit.

    Often through about purchasing one. How much an hour or day would you expect to charge for one

    • @scottellwoodgardening287
      @scottellwoodgardening287  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sam, this machine can make us between £40-50 an hour on jobs but the speed it works compared to strimming also saves time so you could say it is making above that rate as jobs we used to strim all day now take 2 hours and some of them jobs used to be charged at day rate so still pay day rate but we are done sooner.

    • @samwootton8093
      @samwootton8093 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you ever so much for taking the time to reply to me much appreciated. I understand exactly what you mean these commercial grade machines are so productive that if charging by the job your hourly rate potentially works out to be more. I’m a firm believer you get exactly what you pay for. Great videos keep them up.

    Great video. Would you use this for domestic garden lawns? I was just wondering whether you’d get tyre marks on the lawn. Do you ever use it to cut domestic grass? Thank you. 👍🏻

    • @scottellwoodgardening287
      @scottellwoodgardening287  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. We don’t do domestic lawns with this it would not provide a good enough finish and would probably be too heavy for the size lawns in the UK we have. It may be ok in countries like USA with huge front lawns though.

    Hi, great machine.
    But Is It a 9.21 or 9.22?
    Do you need to remove the deck to change belts (transmission and blades)?
    Thank you very much.

    • @scottellwoodgardening287
      @scottellwoodgardening287  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a 9.22. You don’t need to remove the deck but it’s very tricky to get the belt on. It’s easier with 2 people we find as the gap is small. Fortunately we have only had to do it once.

    • @carlomestre3024

      @@scottellwoodgardening287 Thank you very much. How many working hrs lasted the first belt? Did you ever change the other two? Thanks again.

    • @scottellwoodgardening287

      @@carlomestre3024 the belt lasted over 100 hours which is good considering the length of grass we cut with it. Haven’t replaced any other belts yet.
