Pyongyang have a massive plain area in Korean Peninsula geopolitically. Size is 950㎢(234,750 Acre), and it's most valuable in the whole area that occupied 70% mountain.

@@TheDragonHistorian I used to use discord but have stopped for the time being to focus on school - from what I can tell Ollie Bye's discord server is essentially that; but yeah, it would be cool to have one just for the community in general. I think there was one called "VideoMappers" led by EmperortigerStar if I recall correctly, but it was only comprised of about 30 videomappers from what I can remember but I'm sure that could be expanded.

왕검성이랑 조선현 간체자를 아마 못 찾으신거 같은데 왕검성의 검은 간체자로 俭이고 조선할때 선은 鮮과 鲜이 다릅니다. 그리고 縣의 간체는 县입니다.
Probably You can't find Wanggeom fortress and Chaoxian Prefecture's Simplified Chinese geom's simplified chinese 俭.
And during Joseon, 鮮 and different 鲜. And 縣's simplified chinese is 县.

Many of your viewers know very little of this city and few will have the opportunity to visit and experience the enigma . I am grateful to you for presenting a clear outline of development in the area over the years . However , I was disappointed to find the huge vacuum between the years 1413 -1896. If there is ever a genuine opening up it would be wonderful to expand on this region's harrowing but absorbing history . May I ask if you have ever been there yourself ?
Glad you enjoyed the video! I haven't been to Pyongyang, but if Korea ever reunifies or North Korea opens up, I would love to visit it along with Kaesong and Hamhung.

I love it, but I can't picture in my mind how a huge land of the city could just, stop being city (5:51). It's because a new city is created, because it's destroyed...? I'd love to see the explanation.

Wow. I always thought that Pyongyang started left-bank development in Soviet times like most cities which were rebuilt by Soviets after the war. It was very surprising to me to know that left bank actually started first.

The North actually deserves to govern Korea. Because they're more experienced. but thanks to the cold war.. Their country divided into two.

And North Korea was also supported by the Eastern bloc, and Pyongyang and other North Korean cities were created by imitate Soviet cities, where does the legitimacy of North Korea to rule the Korean Peninsula come from? 후에 연나라의 침공을 받고 요서지역을 잃어서 안전한 지금의 평양쪽에 천도한것. 이게 정설입니다.
