    I was on the verge of not wanting this machine because I couldn't find videos to show me the options for traditional quilting, thank you for doing this!

    Thank you. I’ve had my scan n cut since they became available in the uk and used it just for working with paper. Now I understand how to use the patchwork functions I’ll be starting on a new quilt tomorrow! Great video and very clear explanation.

    This was a GREAT video. I’m glad you choose to do the circle, which as you said is probably the hardest one to get to fit together accurately. I bought the Scan n Cut to use it for quilting so this reminded me to get moving and use some of the great blocks they have! I’m a fairly new quilter and this will help me create my own designed quilt. Thanks.

    How did you treat your fabric to be able to cut it? I like to use Heat n Bond but I wouldn't be able to use it to do quilt squares. I REALLY don't like the fabric sheet method and freezer paper never works for me.

    Thanks for great video - watched someone else’s who did not “say” put your fabric face down - which made IMHO hard to see where the drawn lines were!!!

    Wow it makes it much easier to fussy cut if you wanted something in the print to be in a specific section of the quilt block. Looks like you don't wash your fabric before you mark and cut. True?

    Did you use anything over your fabric? Didn’t see that part… or can you just put the fabric on the mat

    You never mentioned if you used the fabric tac mat, which I assume you did?

    Would you please share what model brother sewing machine you are using in this video? It would be nice if such information was written in the "show more" area.

    In the scan n cut SDX325 pattern PA-A003 how do you sew it together?

      You are able to arrange your quilt blocks in the way that you wish. We apologize for any inconvenience. There is not a guide to how to arrange the quilt pieces. Below, you will find the quilt guide for the Brother ScanNCut SDX325:

    I need a bunch of 2 1/2" squares cut from jelly roll strips. Can they be cut on a scan n cut machine??

    • @Happybidr
      @Happybidr 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can. It;s only worth all that effort if you a whole bunch of them. You could also buy a Sizzix machine, the standard one, and buy the thing that lets you cut that size square. You can fold several layers of fabric and cut several out at one time. It’s always perfect and easy to do.

      It is best to have a more simple shape when adding a seam allowance. Here are a few FAQs that may help with adding a seam allowance , error messages and settings:
