I happen to agree. Anette gets the short end a bit to much. Taken totally within context her era produced some wonderful and accessible music. Her biggest problem is she couldn't bring enough Tarja across for the back catalog and so was always behind in fans eyes. But also for Toumas computationally it was good for him and expanded the bands range with new work, but that had pretty much run its course, I think. That made Floor's availability important and timely. Floor brings enough Tarja, but as important she brings enough Anette to keep the back catalog intact and most important brings enough Floor to really expand the bands range. Tarja will always have her songs, but so to will Anette. The Nightwish evolution continues.
Have you seen the Nightwish movie "Imaginaerum" yet?.... Annette is such a good witch! Bellatrix Lastrange eat your heart out! Check out the studio clip!
Thnx for doing this video of Nightwish with Anette singing, tbh this is my favorite of her. Funny you spoke about a cartoon, this song is actualy in the Nightwish MOVIE IMAGINARIUM
"Need some kind of dark video, animation..." or a movie, maybe? Whole album "Imaginaerum" was released also as a soundtrack for a movie with the same title. Story for a movie was co-written by Tuomas
Thank you for your reaction to what is probably my favourite Anette track. The whole of Imaginaerum is awesome ( the only album written specifically for Anette to sing), but the giggly evil of Anette here is quite unique. And Marco, he just fits the part as well.
Anette was a good front woman, so much energy. This song suits her. It also proves the best singer from Nightwish is Marko... who was able to sing fantastic harmonies with all 3 lovely ladies!
Are you going to be bruised tomorrow? 🤣 This song suits Annette very good! Loved your reaction 👀 and why cartoon if there is a movie 😉 Thanks for sharing and reacting 😘
As much as I like Anette here, I think she shines best on the softer ballads. “Meadows of Heaven,” “The Crow, The Owl, and The Dove,” “Rest Calm,” “Turn Loose the Mermaids.” If you haven’t heard any of these before, definitely check them out. They have such a different vibe from the Tarja & Floor era ballads.
Its like the soundtrack of the Tim Burton film had an unholy evening with a metal music, eh? For me this song is potentially the best vocal performance from Anette. Her voice is just perfect for this, because its not as perfectly trained as Floor's or Tarja's voices are, leaving more space to be "unperfect" just as a witch most likely could be imaniged to have.
Oh you MUST see the movie "Imaginaerum"! If you don't pay attention, it will confuse you. Watch carefully and it will leave you speechless. It's pure Nightwish, so you gonna like it :)
It's like Jack meets the witch from Hanzel and Gretchen x 10. Get me that anime and maybe it will surpass Nightmare Before Christmas on my list. Much Love to you and Ukraine 🌻🌻🌻💙💛💙
Before anyone asks why we did this video, it was the video that was requested ;)
This song is screaming Anette. Love this one. And in My opinion, Floor did/does not do this better as some people say. This fits Anette perfectly.

@@judedornisch4946 Very well said 🙂
@@judedornisch4946 nicely said indeed! And Nightwish in itself is some form of a musical evolution. They are simply one of a kind
This and Storytime are Anette's songs
They might be Anettes songs but Floor sing them better😂😎😈
The best Anette song for me. ONe of my favorites regarding the orchestral parts
A great song for Anettes voice and performing 👍
The Montreux version of Love, Slow, Love, to me, was the best she could do. Together with this one.
thx for doing my fav. Nightwish song with Anette..... grts from a dutch cheesehead in Germany

A great Drummer. 🥁I loved watching him. It’s a shame he couldn’t do his job anymore.

Dark movie, yet so touching.
Hey, I’m a Floor Jansen fan but this song is awesome from Annette Olzen, thanks 😊

definitely one of Nightwish's very best! Tuomas is a fricking genius composer.
Hello, you hear so many Composing and Lyrics from Tuomas. And then a Song called Scaretale? Then you know, it is not a Circus, it is S. King in Music.
This song is PURE Dark Fun!
That song was so fun and spooky 👻!!!
Thank You HxC !!!
NWSU 🤘😎🤘.

This song must sound and feel amazing with that sound vest, awesome 😎
The studio version of this song is amazing, so much going on music vice that's not really the same live, but amazing song as is the whole album.
Are you going to be bruised tomorrow? 🤣
This song suits Annette very good! Loved your reaction 👀 and why cartoon if there is a movie 😉
Thanks for sharing and reacting 😘
