Thanks to the Demon Slayer Databooks we don’t have to wonder who the strongest or fastests Hashira were in the series, like did you know that Mitsuri Kanroji is the slowest Hashira, despite the fact that the Databook says she ate right before her test so that could have affected it. After her believe it or not the second slowest Hashira would be Muichiro which really just sounds crazy when you see how he’s animated, but after him we have Obanai being just a bit faster with his snake like movements, and even faster than Obanai is Giyuu Tomioka, who apparently seems like he’s flowing in water when he runs. In the middle of the pack we have Rengoku who despite his flashy skills in Mugen train isn’t as fast as Shinobu who also probably weighs the least out of all the Hashira so that makes sense, and in the top 3 we have Gyomei who moves FAST despite his giant size, with Sanemi taking up the 2nd spot with his wind like speed, but all of them falling behind Uzui Tengen, the former ninja.

Yes this is true! Mitsuri took a few episodes to finally reach tanjiro. The end of episode left us hanging saying that she’s coming but the next episode she’s nowhere to be found and is still running..

@@aang2605Yeah, that's the bitter sweet ending for me, the Demon Slayer Corp is such a cool concept, but they immediately disband after killing Muzan, it's unfortunate that his death meant the end of all demons.
It should have just been that his death would cause the death of all demons that he alone directly created, and not all demons that came about from other demons lower than him, as we know other powerful demons can create other demons by feeding humans their blood, thus leaving room for further Demon Slayer stories, and thus giving the Corp continued purpose.
It could have been that Muzan's death had left a power vacuum, and that a number of powerful demons want to take his place as the next Demon Lord.
So many directions could have been taken, but all in all, I still like that all the Slayers recieved their happy ending.
Also keep in mind, Tengen is also the SOUND Hashira, you would think he can move at the speed of sound
His strikes are at the speed of sound, creating sonic booms, his running speed is probably pretty close to it as well, and for such a big strong guy thats an awesome feat.

Tengen’s the most underrated hashira in the show. Literally ONLY gyomei, and MAYBE sanemi would have does as well as he did against gyutaro. Not only is he the fastest hashira, he’s also one of the strongest, and he’s incredibly resourceful, resilient, has the second coolest weapon, and is the most immune to poison. Tons of other weapons that help him too. Breathing style is middle of the pack good too. Only reason people think he’s one of the weaker ones is because he never got the shot to show what he could do with the slayer mark because he retired before the final arc.

This is in running speed btw. So characters like Iguro, Mitsuri and Tokito have very fast combat speed, and Iguro is also very agile/has good reflexes.

And Mitsuri's Technique Speed is fast. Not her combat speed. Two different things. People keep saying this. The direct manga quote is "Technique speed" and then it gives credit to her swords flexibility as well as her body flexibility as to why she whips out her techniques so fast. If you really think Mitsuri is fast then may I remind you that she did absolutely nothing to the fresh UM4, Nakime. Fresh UM. And marked.

@@erssey6168buddy, if it weren't for Tengen, the three most important characters would have been killed in an instant by Gyutaro, and then, Muzan would have won in the final battle, which wouldn't have even been in this era if it weren't for Tanjiro, as with Tanjiro out of the equation, considering he was really the only one who posed a threat to Muzan, he wouldn't really have felt any need to leave his fortress/Infinity Castle. And not to mention, Tengen is literally the top 5 overall strongest Hashira, he is also the fastest Hashira when it comes to movement speed, and he's in between the top three and five fastest in terms of swinging speed, the only reason he didn't kill Gyutaro in minutes, was because he was constantly trying to protect the main three (mainly Tanjiro), and was poisoned by him, and keep in mind, Gyutaro's poison could kill any normal human in probably seconds, yet Tengen was able to fight him for at least 30 minutes to a full hour, he is by no means weak.

Muichiro your whole breathing is you moving SO fast that it looks like mist but is actually just your after images. Your breathing is literally just your after images.
Well breathing styles don't exactly apply to their actual capabilities, zenitsu can move faster than anyone with his godspeed so fast he literally becomes a blur and his thunder clap and flash looks like teleportation but he can't run that fast

It's very very interesting how the top 3 have 2 really big guys. That's going against the usual trope of big guys being slow and just strong.
Keep in mind this is travel speed. Combat Speed and Agility would be a totally different scenario. For example Mitsuri the slowest Hashiras has higher combat speed than Tengen the fastest Hashira

The one time he said "i couldn't react to her movement" coz she was moving zig Zac which was difficult to read, she was so fast yet Douma was able to cut her without her noticing it.

Sadly, Douma only died because he absorbs shinobu, which she was injecting herself with Wisteria poison for years and years waiting for that moment.

@@lordaragon901 all the other pillar had strenght above regular person, so even if mitsuri had those super dense muscle that grants her super streght, the other pillar still can keep up, i mean all of them is not some regular human to begin with. For example gyomei can busted a demon before he started his training, and in malnourish condition at that, so no. Mybe she is at the top 3 or top 5, but surely not the strongest
In databooks tengen has more raw strength than all other hashiras (except for Gyomei)
@@lordaragon901 tengen has arms ten times her size and he's stated as very strong in databooks whereas mitsuri/sanemi/giyu/rengoku were stated as strong and were interchangeable in raw strength.

Fast, very fast. But he doesn't technically run, he does explosive kicks and he can't really keep it up for long. So beginning sprint he's probably faster than the hashiras but after that all of them would probably catch up to him quite easily and outpace him

Tengen is Insane, but technically conparing him to the other hashira he was only able to do well against upper Moon 6, still an incredible feat, but it is not as incredible as the other hashiras acomplishments, except maybe Rengoku

Just like Douma, if the author hasn't ranked him as upper 2 , people would rank him as the weakest or second weakest uppermoon based on his feats.
Remember most hashiras Without marks were destroyed by uppermoons in a minute and they weren't poisoned, and other things considered i think tengen is a top tier hashira (top 2-3) if we rank them on base lvl (without mark).

He’d know of his survival/victory from his foresight, and following up with the bait plan allow no one to catch up before the mansion exploded. If anyone, Tengen would definitely be the one who’d show up before the explosion based on how fast he was.

Remember that this top is about running speed: maybe Mitsuri is ranked as the slowest Hashira, but at the same she is the fastest Hashira in attack speed (her swordsmanship is stated to be faster than Uzui's).
Also despite Uzui being the fastest Hashira in movement speed, Shinobu is the most speed balanced, as she is very quick in both movement and attack.

@N K yeah her jab skills are really fast, although she still ran circles around Douma. She wouldn't have won by herself either way since her poison didn't do anything, plus he has an incredibly large attack area.
