Alhamdulliah! Beautifully explained. Allah s.w.t know what will happen to us, what we will choose and He has it written down, that's our destiny. We have free will but the key is He knows what we will choose ultimately as He can see the past, the present and the future all at once so He knows our destiny.
Very good explanation MashALLAH Good example is Prophet Musa and Khidr. One that has the knowledge how to organize the life in this world according ALLAHs commends. And the other that had the knowledge behind the curtains how ALLAH organizes the world. That's why in the Surah is mentioned where to seas or rivers meet. Meaning where to knowledge meet.
Sorry but the best person to ever define thin subject is non other than Dr Mohamed Shahroor ❤ القدر هو الوجود وما حصل القضاء هو افعل او لا تفعل اي عمل قرار في الوجود الاضي ياخذ قرار قي موجود..
Before making an unfair judgment like that, do a little research on Dr Omer Atilla Ergi. Have a look at what his PhD thesis is about and the books he published. At least be just in your comments, read his book Predestination and Free Will first… I could not find any research or books written by Dr Sharoor on Destiny and Free Will.
Put it this way, if you don't like your lifes destiny, then go ahead and challenge Allah to a game of chess. Yes you will accumulate great wealth and temporary success, as you plan and make your moves, but in the end you will lose and be channelled to where you are meant to be. Your free will is to not resist but to basically accept Allah and your journey. Strive for belief and goodness.
Allah allows the action to happen based on the firmness of intention. Now there is a choice and the conciquence of the choice made and the action becomes easy . Humanity is having limited freewill, and not total freewill. There are many elements in the human body that are not under his control, even his heart, where Allah controls it in his two fingers.
Its like watching a move. The characters in the move in a present tense cant tell, suppose they did not know the script. But were to make free scripted move. But from ALLAH PERSPECTIVE he is watching our move which we live in reality but he is seeing from the view of future tense, he knows the ending. But we in yhe current scene in the moviw still will make free will free scripted choices but he already knows as he has seen the movie already ( pre written ).
We do have free will, its just that ALLAH SWT the all mighty, the all knowing has already prewritten each of our actions that we WOULD take and its outcomes in a pre determined manner. Hence its been written. So we will make free choices, its like he sees in the past, present and the future, the one who has that power, can certainly prewrite pur actions. We can think of actions or directions we can take, but will only take one direction and change it each step of the way being still one direct in a singular count. Its like one will always lead to 2, and 2 will always lead to 3. I take a step right. Thats one direction, then step 2 i take to the left, thats also one direction. If we see it from above it may seem that we went multiple directions from a wholisitc view. So ALLAH. Already know each step we will take and the decisions we will make, then the reactions are also to each decision ina singular way will ha e their own singular directions. Hence he know all the choices we will make, their outcomes leading to a new direction and so on, till the end of time. So yes, we have free will, its just tjat god has the power to have already written down the choices we alone decided to make and theor outcomes .on and on.
Interesting lecture. Yes, freewill is the biggest gift for all mankind. But it is not consistent with the story of Abu Lahab and it looks like a wild story is being invented to make that inconsistency sound consistent. Or is that also part of Qadr?
Why isn’t it consistent? Abu Lahab used his free will to reject faith. God through His infinite knowledge knew he would reject faith and mentioned it in the Quran. Did Abu Lahab have the option to believe? Yes, of course, if he did believe then the Quran would not have mentioned it. It is all about God’s infinite knowledge.
@@tanerserdar No, according to the wild story, no freewill was granted to him because Abu Lahab was told, during his life, while he was still living, that he will end up in the hell fire (yes, with or without his freewill). That is the key point: while he was still living, he was told he will end up in the fire. How was he supposed to use his freewill to act otherwise? Was Allah, the All Mighty unfair towards Abu Lahab, by telling him while alive and well, that he will end up in fire, or have we completely misunderstood Sura Al Masad?
@@tanerserdar One more thing: how do you know, that if Abu Lahab would believe, Quran would not have mentioned it? (refer to Quran 25:30, you will understand what I mean)
@@erwinsadhoe3455 You do not understand Qadar my friend. Destiny is Allah’s knowledge which does not change so if hypothetically Abu Lahab was to believe, since there can be no mistakes in Allah’s knowledge, the Quran would not mentioned him as a disbeliever. Our destiny in regard to belief is our choices. The Quran says, the truth has come to you, let those who wish to believe, believe, and those who wish to reject, reject. The Quran said Abu Lahab will die as a disbeliever because Allah knew with His infinite knowledge that Abu Lahab would never believe. It is not Allah who makes him a disbeliever, he makes that choice and Allah knows the choice he would make.
This is how free will works: Yes, humans have free will but Allah knows what a particular person will choose as the course of action in any particular circumstance and he has thus “arranged” the universe and events so the net result is according to what Allah wants. Allah fully knows everyone’s deepest thoughts and convictions.
Human free will is sub-ordinate to Allah’s free will. Allah fully knows the nature of every human being and knows how he will react in a given situation.
Allah uses this knowledge to construct events in such a way that Allah will get the desired result in any given situation. Take the following example. If Allah wants person A to murder person B, Allah will choose person A in such way that person A will murder person B based on person A’s nature and convictions (propensity to commit the crime of murder).
Allah will setup events in such a way that Allah will give person A the opportunity and a motive to murder person B. Note both Person A and person B are being tested. After the event unfolds both Allah and person A will have exercised free will.
Allah is the ultimate and a perfect chess grand master. He gives free will to humans and Jinns but still gets his way in all matters when all is said and done. Allah always gets his will fulfilled without exception.
Allah has programmed the soul in a spectrum of qadar. then he gave the akal to the soul and guidance thru messangers and his books. after that he will wait for you to account of your action. your action is recorded in the fil of time which is a scroll that he will play for you during death to confirm your action as conclusion of your life. Allah Akhlam. Allah knows best.
