Thought provoking video. Qur'an also states - God has given humans preference over many of his creation. It means humans were made superior to may other creations but NOT all. There are creations out there, that are superior than humans.
    - It also states, "Samawat" (7 heavens- plural) is created in layers stacked one upon another. It could mean ONE universe has 7 layers where time, space, dimension is different or it could also mean there are 7 universes all together.
-95 billion light years is the width of the VISIBLE universe. Light from beyond this limit will NEVER reach earth as universe is expanding at a speed greater than the speed of light. What is beyond, we may never know ! And all these galaxies, quasars, black holes and other celestial entities are in the 1st universe (in case of a multiverse) or in the 1st layer in case of a multi layered(multi dimensional) one Universe.
    - There are also Hadith that talks about vastness of the universe. 1st layer like a ring in a desert compared to the 2nd. 2nd like a ring in a desert compared to the 3rd. And it goes on. Vastness and diversity of creation is beyond human comprehension. It is an insult to minimum intellect of even an animal let alone a human to believe this CREATOR entered the womb of an 11 year old girl and forced her to give birth to himself. This God in flesh then died like a common criminal from a pole. What a garbage PAGAN mythology.
Indeed God and his creation is beyond human knowledge !

Surah Kahaf very clearly mentions Zulqarnain travels to many of these extraterrestrial or other worldly beings. Surah Kahaf also mentions about what their world looks like for example ” beings of a world had no protection from sun”
    But only Allah knows truth.

Surah Kahaf is a treasure of knowledge.

Master and Commander on that tremendous day and who's knowledge encompasses all that exist in his glorious heavens and on his magnificent earth.
Who is it then that would dare to intercede without his permission?
This is also indicated in the Quranic information on the adventures of King Zulqarnyn as clearly some of his encounters were not on this earth but rather in other places outside of our universe.

In fact there is a direct answer from the Quran about other life forms in other planets in the Quran
    Allah said in 42:29
And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the creatures dispersed in them ( fihima - i.e the heavens and earth ) ; and He is Able to gather them whenever He wills.
So He said he had dispersed creatures in the heavens and earth !!! categorically - so extra terrestrial life exist according to the Quran

      Don’t confuse the people.
You are talking about the verse in Surah Anbiya: “He created every living being from water”
      وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ
In surah Nur, 45, it states:
“And Allah has created from water every living creature. Some of them crawl on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some walk on four. Allah creates whatever He wills. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything.”
As you can see the verse is talking about organic beings, there is no misinterpretation.
You are also wrong when you say “we human beings are made from clay” only Adam (as), the first human being is made from clay, rest of us are made from water (liquid), meaning sperm, it also indicates that our bodies are mostly water (70%)
      ۖ

@tanerserdar brother im arabic native speaker and that translation is wrong partially, Katada interpret the aya as creation from water while there's other interpretations that dont agree with that, because Allah didn't say وخلقنا كل شيئ من الماء Allah was precise and said وجعلنا من الماء كل شيئ حي as you can see جعلنا و خلقنا are totally diffrent words each one serves its message, so anyone who try to interpret one word and tell us it means the other word he is doing wrong you can do that only to narrowthe understanding but not to flip the meaning entirely, and Allah is the best and knows exactly why he used that word جعلنا instad of خلقنا

@@malcomgreen4747and I am part of a team of tafsir scholars. Speaking Arabic is not enough to understand the Quran. Are you saying everyone who speaks native Arabic can by default make tafsir of the Quran? Can I ask, have you studied usul al tafsir?
You need to read the relevant verses and study other tafsirs, but also look what the noble prophet (saw) said about these verses. Here is İbn Kathir’s tafsir:
      وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ
And We have made from water every living thing, meaning, the origin of every living thing is from water. Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Hurayrah said, "I said: O Messenger of Allah, when I see you I feel happy and content, tell me about everything.'' He said,
      «كُلُّ شَيْءٍ خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاء»
      Everything was created from water.”
      How about surah Nur 45?
      وَاللّٰهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَٓابَّةٍ مِنْ مَٓاءٍۚ
Allah has created every “dabba” from water.
What is the meaning of dabba?
Note: even if you do not agree with the interpretation, your comment should be respectful, instead of saying he misunderstands this, you should say, “I disagree and here is my reason”

In Short: The All-Powerful One of Glory created the seven heavens from ether, and forming it into levels, ordered it with a truly fine and wondrous order and sowed the stars in it. Since the Qur'an of Miraculous Exposition is a pre-eternal address speaking to all the classes of all mankind and the jinn, for sure each of those classes will receive its share from the Qur'an's verses and its verses will contain various and numerous meanings, both explicit and implicit, in a way that will satisfy the understanding of each.
Yes, the breadth of the Qur'anic address and the comprehensiveness of its meanings and indications and its conforming to and flattering all the degrees of understanding from the most uneducated common people to the highest of the elite shows that all its verses have an aspect which looks to each class. Thus, in consequence of this mystery, as an example, seven classes of men understand as follows the meaning of seven various levels from the universal meaning "seven heavens:"
A short-sighted and narrow-minded class of men understands the atmosphere from the verse "and fashioned them into seven heavens." While another class of men befogged by astronomy understands the famous stars known popularly as the seven planets, and their orbits. Yet another group understands seven celestial globes resembling our globe, which are inhabited by living creatures. {[*]: See, al-Hâkim, al-Mustadrak, ii, 535; al-Tabarî, Jâmi' al-Bayân, xxviii, 153-4.} A further group of men understands the solar system being separated into seven levels, and seven solar systems together with our system. And yet another group undertands the ether being separated into seven levels. Another class of men with broader ideas counts all the visible skies gilded with stars as a heaven, and saying that it is this world's heaven, understands that there are six levels of heavens besides it. And mankind's seventh and highest class do not consider the seven heavens to be restricted to the Manifest World, and understands that the Worlds of the Hereafter and the Unseen, and this world, and the World of Similitudes all have seven heavens, each of which is an encompassing container and roof.
Similarly, there are many further particular meanings in the universal of the verse, like the above-mentioned seven levels of meaning of the seven levels. Everyone receives his share according to his understanding and everyone finds his sustenance at that heavenly table.
Since the verse has thus numerous points confirming it, the unreasoning philosophers and foolish astronomers attacking the verse in that way on the pretext of denying the heavens is like silly children throwing stones at a star in the hope of making it fall. Because if one of the points confirming it from the verse's universal meaning is correct, the universal meaning is correct and true. A particular even which is not literally true but is commonly accepted may be included in the universal meaning in order to conform to the generally held ideas. Whereas we saw numerous particulars which are right and true. Now look at this unfair, unjust geography and drunken intoxicated astronomy: how wrong these two sciences have been, closing their eyes to the universal meaning, which is right and correct and true, and not seeing the aspects which confirm it and are absolutely right; they have fancied an imaginary and extraordinary particular to be the meaning of the verse and thrown stones at the verse! And they have broken their own heads and lost their belief!
In Short: Since like jinns and satans, unbelieving materialist ideas have been unable to ascend to the seven levels of the skies of the Qur'an, which was revealed in seven recitations, {[*]: See, Bukhârî, Fadâ'il al-Qur'ân, 5, 27; Tawhîd, 553; Muslim, Salât al-musâfirîn, 270: Tirmidhî, Qirâ'ât, 2} and with seven aspects, seven sorts of miraculousness, seven truths, and seven pillars, they do not know what there is and what there is not in the stars of its verses and give false and inaccurate reports. So falling stars like the above discussion descend on their heads from the stars of those verses and scorch them. Yes, the heavens of the Qur'an cannot be ascended to by means of the jinn-like ideas of philosophy. The stars of its verses can only be risen to through the ascension of true wisdom and the wings of belief and Islam.
O God! Grant blessings to the Sun of the skies of prophethood and Moon of the firmament of messengerhood, and to his Family and Companions, the stars of guidance for the rightly-guided.
Glory be unto You! We have no knowledge save that which You have taught us; indeed You are All-Knowing, All-Wise. (2:32)
O God! O Sustainer of the Heavens and Earth! Adorn the hearts of the translator of this treatise and his companions with the stars of the truths of the Qur'an and belief. Amen.

Dear Dr, I have found your video very enlightening and acted as a reminder to what I knew.
With respect, may I offer my opinion, based upon the Quran, for the interpretation of JINN.
The Root of the word Jinn is the same as the Root of Jannah.
Jannah literally means " a garden hidden away."
Similarly Jinn, are those people who are largely hidden away.
    We learn from the Quran:
    1. Allah has SENT Messengers that were ALL HUMAN BEINGS.
    2. Allah has SENT Messengers from amongst the INS AND JINNS.
Hence by inference/ by logical deduction, THE JINN, too ARE HUMAN BEINGS.
Another verse in the Quran talks of the foetus in the womb of its mother. The Quran calls the foetus " JINNATUN."
    The foetus is "hidden."
The Quran at Surah Al-Imran 3: 5 -7 states that Allah uses two kinds of language, one is factual, the other is Muttashabiat = allegorical/ Symbolic.
Hence when the Quran states that Adam( humans) are created from dust, or clay, or a petrified extract of clay and that the Jinn were created from fire, or a smokeless flame of fire, THESE ARE ALL ALLEGORICAL.
    Take the verse:
    khaliqul insanu min ajjal.
If we translate the verse literally, it means that Allah has Created us from haste!! But there is no such thing that can create us, called " haste."
The word is indicating our NATURE!
So the Nature of Adam is DOWN TO EARTH, WELL GROUNDED.
Jinn are those people who tend to have a FIERY NATURE, ARGUMENTATIVE, TOUGH, RUGGED PEOPLE.
Hence the Jinn are those NOMADIC people. Mountain dwelling, forest dwelling, NOMADIC PEOPLE. They are rarely seen, and because one minute that are near your town/ village etc, then the next time they have gone!
Please look into this for me. It is an understanding from Allama Iqbal. Allama Pervez and Dr Shabir Ahmed, Florid, USA.
    JZK.

I am sorry to inform that the interpretation of Aya 12 in Surah Talaq is not correct. The correct interpretation is as follows:
Allah is the One Who created seven heavens ˹in layers˺, and likewise for the earth. Which means that there are seven layers both in Earths structure as well as Earths atmosphere like
The different layers of the atmosphere
The Troposphere. This is the lowest part of the atmosphere - the part we live in. ...
The Stratosphere. This extends upwards from the tropopause to about 50 km. ...
    The Mesosphere. ...
    The Thermosphere and Ionosphere. ...
    The Exosphere. ...
    The Magnetosphere.
Similarly there are 7 layers in Earths structure like
Crust. The solid crust is the outermost and thinnest layer of our planet. ...
Mantle. Mantle material is hot (932 to 1,652 degrees Fahrenheit, 500 to 900 degrees Celsius) and dense and moves as semi-solid rock. ...
    Outer Core. ...
    Inner Core. ...
    Lithosphere. ...
    Asthenosphere. ...
    Mesosphere.

When the Quran refers to earth’s sky, it usually uses a singular term “sama”, but when it refers to universe it uses the plural form “samawat.”
So, your interpretation is not accurate, it is based on a classic interpretation.
I advise you to read the tefsir of 7 heavens by Ibn Abbas.
In his tafsir he states that there are seven heavens and each heaven there are earth’s like yours.
Moreover, you can never speak with certainty about Quranic verses.
Do you think that Allah, Who created millions of living species on earth, cannot create other living being in the universe that contains trillions of planets?
