My main problem with this is that Geto’s barrier wasn’t immediately lowered. So as soon as he was revived he should’ve had one drone immediately go and call Gojo.
I think it was. Pretty sure as soon as the idle transformation was performed, Geto put the barrier up, and the barrier is massive, so there was no way for me mekkamaru to get any information out in time. This battle was pivotal in the overall plot. If mekamaru won/escaped he would have informed Gojo of what they were planning at Shibuya and the entire arc would have went differently. I was rooting for Mekkamaru, he fought a really good battle, especially considering this is the first time he was able to run and do any sort of normal movement. 10/10 for style and effort.

My theory is that he wanted to take them both out as proof he never intended to betray or harm his friends. If he had killed Mahito and Geto, then all the damage would have been reversed. I still think he should have focused on contacting Gojo, but the veil place probably made outside communication impossible, so he tried to fight
