From Chicago, Western burbs', I first heard of pgw from my father, he would read these late at night, when everyone was in bed, at 11 or 12 midnight, dimly lit living room, pipe on the side table, and Brandy or bourbon aside. That was 50y ago, he is now passed, was 92, at the time, two years ago. When we cleaned out the living room, "The man upstairs ", was lying open, on the couch, next to his Bible and their wedding collage. True.

Just checking your video collection for a Jeeves and Wooster short story I've encountered elsewhere, and you don't appear to have touched it, or the rest of the book.
The compilation in question is 'Plum Pie' (1966), which includes "Jeeves and the Greasy Bird", Ukridge, Mulliner, Drones and others.

I enjoyed listening to this story, thank you for uploading, but I didn't understand the ending. I searched and found the story on internet and read it, but still don't get it, lol. Can someone please explain the ending to me? What will happen next, I mean, I don't take the proposal of Mr Zinzinheimer seriously ...... or do I and does it simply all end well for the young lad?
