The GoG paint color looked EXACTLY like the surrounding terrain. Good job! I'm going to have to get onto one of these servers this year!
It still amazes me how many a server like this can handle for capacity! I just had to look at what they host for server specs to handle this. Certainly it takes a bit to keep something like this up, but it's very good that it can handle so much. Maybe there will be another group who is recruiting to a server of this level eventually.

I had an idea for a base: Abandoned amusement park!
Concession stands, shooting galleries, carousels, and of course a ferris wheel! All abandoned, broken down, and then taken over and repurposed by some crazy faction.
Imagine that ferris wheel towering over the base, spinning slowly... with turrets mounted instead of some of the seats.
I made a Ferris wheel, once. It looks ridiculous.. a ridiculous ferris wheel :/

Don't let the video fool you, the server is a cesspool of salt, broken dreams, and toxic server politics. In other words, it's perfect!
I built a plane on a rover only server and it gets completely ignored. I guess I won't be selling anything to you that I make in "The Green Room".

Lol, the way the name was displayed probably dictated why the welder was shown, but the FPS Compound grid got portrayed as a solo. I'm Chaos Theory, one of FPS's leaders fyi. XD

There is rules to not use the footage for raiding purposes. If someone does they get ganged up on and wiped

it's the trash removal, it fills in undisturbed voxels to reduce lag

Recently i see those welder grids behind a window-wall. What purpose does this have? Beyond the thing that is getting welded not accidently destroying the welders.
Does any of this actually get recorded like a series? Or only summaries?

Loved the video LastStandGamers! I love the fact that there's a faction called "SGC" because I've seen "Stargate:SG-1". Also, that green area in the one base has given me the strongest of temptations to call @CaptainJack and his friends from RWI and CNL to bring a Joint Task Force over to eliminate what might be a Green Drone Armada (GDA) remnant base.
One more thing, has anyone ever thought that the planet looked kinda like Geonosis from Star Wars?
What I really want to know is has anyone ever made any of the vehicles used in the "Colony LOST" series?
Nice to see a bit more comprehensive server tour. But you did miss the WMC base. Or rather you didn't give it a chance to load. 31:47 is us. You would have also seen it if you scrolled all the way down the list.
Lockleed and Whiskers have been slaving away on something cool you'll want to see.
Good guy LSG, removes scrap wheel from the server to prevent lag.
Answering the question: "What would you build on the server?"
#1 - A starting base, with only basic stuff, se to owned by all. (...and mine a sh!tton of stone.)
#2 - Get the blueprint of my favourite rover projected and start welding up the SV Nomad S-1
witch can be found in the workshop, made by me. It's a long distance, all terrain, unarmed rover.
(#2.5 abandon it, and leave a sign for future users.)
#3 - With the Nomad, find a place with Fe, Ni, Co underground and settle down.
#4 - Upgrade the rover to the S-2c variant to make it an unarmed scouting vehicle.
#5 - Make combat vehicles, and ICBM's.
#6 - Search for allies
#7 - Make a trading/refueling station.
#8 - Profit!
I would build a huge underground facility with a very small entrance, and lots of blast doors and turrets.
a mortal engines server would be super cool the only rule being no rocket turrets main weapon being the gut and youre base must be on wheels.
Would a space elevator using rotors and wheels be allowed or was there nothing in space for this server? 🤔 would take ages but just a random thought 🤷🏻♂️
LSG I have watched your channel for a long time I just picked up space engineers not too long ago about a week for the Xbox One I have watched your show on Space Engineers quite a bit and Seen you showcase quite a bit of ships I had some trouble finding a ship that I actually enjoyed in that fit the purpose of what I wanted to do in the game so I made my own the [Jericho hauler mk II complete] I spent about three days laying out the design and doing final tweaks and then finally published it I would really like it if you was to take a look at it and give me any kind of feedback or helpful pointers or tips that I may use and further builds I enjoy this game and I would like to keep building on it thank you for your time
If you do want some kind of feedback I would recommend joining the LSG discord Arron himself might not exactly see it but you can still get feedback from experienced players.

@@daghostwolf5118 you might have some fun checking out the steam workshop even if you can't download them for xbox they're still good design.
My favourites right now are V.M.E by Taidyr and ISL by Spite.
Just hope it reaches the top 10 on PC workshop, then it might get 5-10min attention from him.

personly... that base what was little more then an armored shaft with some guns around it topside won me for its simplicity....but the ones nice fancy walls or proper towers struck some heart strings.
makes me imagen If i was on that server....i be so badly tempted to try and masq something small mobile as something stationary dug down into the ground aka ''not worth the effort to take the scrap wont even make up for repair costs'' yet..each weekend i be on it shift position ^^^ ...or make a 'infection spreading from sinkhole' looking base that might hide a supprice or not if having the spare weekends and luck on site with materials to make a proper base..well..proper for one dude at least, only so much you can do alone without mods like nano bots ;)..either way ,love seeing what people makes specialy the larger groups in these little tours!
Is the Wasteland DLC worth it? I have all the other DLCs because I enjoy Space Engineers, but I just want to know if yall like it.
I got all the dlcs mostly to support the developers but I do think if you have people you play with that have it it’s not needed however I don’t play with people so having the dlc is nice
@@twigboy2594 yeah I forgot to mention that, I genuinely like Space Engineers and I really only play SP, so I bought the DLCs knowing that it would help support the devs 👍

I'd love to build some sort of mole rover that digs a small hole when i get into trouble so only the upper part of the vehicle would be exposed while in combat
If you take a look on my channel, I did something like that with a mobile base of sorts. All the critical components (storage, fuel, medbay and so on) are underground once it's burrowed properly.
I'm really interested in what you said about the underground bases not having a support structure and it being liable to a cave in. Is this an actual feature of the server, if so what's the mod or is it done manually by admin?
i think they fuck about with the trash remover to undo random damage to the land so it doesn't hurt the performance to much and if you haven't built near enough to damage it might get replaced
What is the specs on the hardware for the server? Having trouble running my server smooth with only 6-8 people

Is it ok to show bases in pvp server? I mean you give great intel for people who would like to attack those bases. Are players ok with this?
Edit: maybe it is just a common courtesy to not use those videos to plan an attack?

How do you block/remove thruster blocks to ensure only rovers? Or is it an honor system type of thing?

for someone who hasn't SE'd in years. What's a projector? and why is it bad?
projector let's u use already prepared blueprints of something that you copied earlier - it shots transparent model of what you want and you just weld it. Its bad for the server lag if it stays
The towers in Luthertown appear to be based off the skyscrapers in Fallout 4
We had an image of Trinity Tower from fallout 4 open when we built them :P

@@micheallinne3159 but can you imagine all of the Americans myself included going and killing people and taking the oil for themselves like yeah it would be awesome but I can’t imagine the amount of death cause by oil if put into the base game
@@twigboy2594 I think that's kind of a misconception about the wars that have been over oil, it's mostly been to prevent specific countries from having monopolies on the oil, at least those countries that we perceive as wholly evil, totalitarian, or just dangerous. Most oil wars in the middle east have been about the supply of oil to Europe and the fact Russia basically has a monopoly on a lot of it and how it's hurting European countries. You can imagine how it is in America's interest to weaken Russia's hold on oil in the middle east especially since a lot of our allies are also European countries and Russia is sort of our #1 enemy and threat. Now I'd love to play out the stereo type of a oil loving, war mongering, American in space engineers if only for the nice role play opportunity and players aren't all that friendly towards enemy players usually anyways so why not.

i love land vehicles in space engineers. the armor blocks need work tho. for example
make tough blocks even tougher.. but heavier.
forcing players to either make sacrifices like weaker light plating.
or use less heavy plating thats spaced out for airial assult vehicles like a real life attack chopper
while heavy plating can be haulled around more easily by say a tank or APC grojnd unit... like real life
and.. AND! why is there no arodynamics? i said it in another comment that trailmakers has air physics.. smaller maps.. 4 players.. no digging.. but fins and flukes actually work damit

Get a rover to tunnel a hole in to the underground hangar
Bunker bases are hell to raid
And tunneling into a base is not allowed

I dont understand how is it possible to play on server like this without lags, disconnects and rubber banding issues if small server with few people and limited PCU suffer just like any other Space Engineers server :( .
I wish multiplayer is bullet proof with unlimited PCU scripts mods and everything. Right now MP is total unstable mess for many years.

im pretty sure you had a wasteland rover server a year ago which was extremely laggy and crashed at least twice an hour. but obviously your creative genius knows no bounds as your repeating the same crap.
just so everyone is aware, last stand gamers get there server hardware for free then they charge you monthly to play on the server which runs like crap and has done for many years (lets not get into the admin abuse) and then to top it off, they go around filming your base (on a PVP server) and then make more money by putting it on youtube.
so before you join a LSG server ask yourself this Do i want to actually play a cool game like space engineers? or do i just want to be a LSG cash cow?

Is it weird to anyone else that Arron's basically created a system where other people pay HIM so that he can use their work for his own monetized content?
The server is open to anyone who earns active and loyal on the Discord free of charge, which basically just means be an active and good member of the community. Arron putting server access as a perk on his Patreon is meant to be an extra reward for supporting his content. No one is required to pay to play on his server.
