I've been thinking of seeking out low-dose ketamine therapy for my depression, but I'm also wary because I have a history of using it and other dissociates recreationally (which is part of how I know it has lasting affects on my depression), as well as a past opioid problem I'm still recovering from, so I think it'd be a hard sell to most doctors. I wish someone near me did xenon therapy (since it seems to have similar effects, and xenon is so incredibly expensive and inaccessible outside of medical context that there'd be about zero chance of me using it recreationally outside of therapy).

yes! Ketamine is such a great tool for acute SI especially. PSA though - not a guarantee for everyone. For me it worked to break the SI spiral, but did not find lasting effects on depression others spoke of. I've seen some of the interview. Musk is quite prickly if he's asked even remotely difficult questions. He hates scrutiny from those who he believes to be lesser beings. Like, everyone else.
Two things evident with Musk. 1) he believes in free speech if other people agree with his views. Otherwise no, it's 'woke'.
2) other people have hundreds of billions of dollars invested in Musk's companies. He has a fudiciary duty to shareholders. So yeah, it IS their business if he's using drugs or increasingly becoming a nutcase, or promoting any version of white nationalism, for example.
We saw how Musk reacted when Twitter advertisers exercised their right to pull their ads rather than be associated with Musk's increasingly toxic politics. He claims to be a free speech warrior but he's the opposite. He's a salesman who is all about self-enrichment. Hey, capitalism, sure, that's great. But let's not pretend that he's 'saving the world'. That is his delusion.
Ultimately, he's a very smart man with a rather obvious narcissistic personality, some incoherent views, and unsteady mental health. He didn't liike it that Don Lemon's interview exposed these features. He likes to pretend that he's Tony Stark after all, y'know Ironman.

Boris Johnson was intentionally trying to look like a BBC children's character named Worzel Gummage, played by Jon Pertwee (the third doctor's actor).
The character was a living scarecrow who didn't understand the world, and constantly lied because he didn't know the difference between truth and make-believe, but was nevertheless widely beloved and considered good-hearted.
Johnson was subliminally tapping into a shared British cultural experience to get forgiveness for constantly lying to people. That's why he kept his hair blonde and mussed it in a specific way right before going on camera. It would be like a politician in the USA cosplaying Mr Rogers and calling everybody "neighbor".
Part of the reason his career fell off is that show went off the air decades ago and younger voters don't have that cultural conditioning, so the demographics shifted against him over time.
