Auburn's Hank Brown makes his first start

Auburn redshirt freshman QB Hank Brown made his first start against New Mexico, delivering a solid performance. His pass efficiency was 14th best among Auburn QB's that faced non-Power 5 opposition and attempted at least 15 passes during the game. (That was 14th out of 94 games dating back to 1986.)
The Lobos were expected to challenge the Auburn defense and did so with 448-yards. The Tigers bend but don't break approach, allowed only 19 points. Auburn moves into conference play this coming Saturday, hoping to use this past performance against New Mexico as a building block during the Hugh Freeze reconstruction effort.
