During my campus placements I got rejected in tech Mahindra and I got depressed as Im from eee background i know that this is the only option I have. Hi, don't you think using an approach like Newton Ralpshon (or any such method) for square root is better than binary search? That works for numbers without non-integer roots, can be optimized for speed or precision(by varying the number of iterations) and it pretty converges pretty fast for numbers with integral roots. Also, I think that you should have said the testing is a part of how you develop code. In almost all the companies, the first testing is always done by the developers and writing unit test cases in the responsibility of the developer. I feel that is a good idea to tackle such questions.

all was good , my technical round , my coding , my aptitude , i excelled in each round but in hr round , just one mistake and dammit , all gone . he asked me if i will do this job for 4-6 yrs straight , and i humbly told him that after doing this job for 2-3 , i will go for M.S , as my almost whole family is USA, and i wanna settle there only , so he got triggered , why not r u settling in india , bla bla bla bla , and straight away i knew that , ok its gone , but no matter , i got through in microsoft this week , at 40 lpa, life dont stop , you gotta give ur best , its all easy, i didnt mind losing de shaw , because microsoft is better than that , so that was it. but i wanna meet that hr one day and tell that little ass that if want to do something in ur life than u have to go out of india , because india is for reserved guys.

Anything is fine. But you should be comfortable wearing that. College guys usually wear formals. Hope this helps.
