I think they didn't put skates on because there is 2 types of skates included and its just easier/better to let consumer decide which type of skate to use. IMO its better that way. + your statement

How does this play for fingertip? Ive been using the superlight for fingertip for about two years, and while overall comfortable for my very aggressive fingertip grip, when I fully move the mouse downward with my fingers the top of the hump grazes against the bottom of my knuckles and my palm, will this do the same? If this isnt good for fingertip and I still want something slightly smaller and lighter than the superlight, what do I go with?
