What i didnt think there was a fragrance robes08 didnt own especially mancera/montale? Between you and Ash man i dont think theres a fragrance you two dont own.. envy your collections keep them growing.. love your reviews been watching your for 10yrs plus one of the reasons im a cologne collector now thanks for all your reviews..
Knowing your tastes, if you’re looking for other Mancera compositions to look at (besides red tobacco) I would suggest Black Gold (Citrus-spicy-Ambery-Leather with a touch of that montale Oud lightly in the background) good for fall and done in the usual “might kill someone with too many pulls of the trigger” montale/Mancera style. Others for summer would be Soleil D’Italie (fantastic airy citrus longevity varies on me from 5-8 hours great for summer), and Sicily (Juicy citrus peach with some white florals and woods in the dry down, fantastic performance). Also while it’s in stock check out Elie Saab Essence No.4 Oud on FragranceBuy, this was impossible to find for the last couple years so it may not be there long. Rubbery Oud goodness the entire Essence line was perfumed by Francis Kurkdjian (They also have No. 10 Amande Tonka listed but out of stock, it took me months of searching to get this a year and a half ago *found it from a discount in the UAE that shipped worldwide* before it disappeared till Fragbuy listed it. Highly recommended if you like Tonka forward fragrances. The Amyris in it makes it magical.

Ok I had some of my samples come without labels and there's one I think might be Instant Crush. Could the creamy sweetness be at all comparable to Tom Fords Noir Extreme?
Thanks for your initial take on this one . I do not own BR 540, so I can not compare the two. However, I do like instant Crush, but also get a little synthetic vibe though out most of the life of the fragrance. Thanks as always for sharing . . .
1 mancera aoud cafe 2 mancera black gold 3 mancera wild cherry And the red tobacco and aoud lemon mint, but those are already hyped Also Aoud black candy might appeal to you too These three I feel would be up your alley

Thanks Mark, for your honest 1st impression. I haven’t smelt this one yet. I’ve heard a lot of hyped reviews but I’ve been hesitant to buy it because of reasons that you mentioned. I have tried a few from Mancera. I like them all, they’re not my favorite but they’re good fragrances. I have Hindu Kush, red tobacco and my wife has gold incense.
Hi Mark, Your reviews are always accurate. 👌🏼... I own 3 fragrances by Mancera, Red Tobacco, Instant Crush and Aoud Lemon Mint. The 3 fragrances are amazing in terms of what each of them wants to portray. But the charm is always situated deeper and deeper in the drydown. And that's not to mention the very nice scent trail it leaves behind, it's simple, I'm not able to stop smelling myself after a few hours... 😝
@Happy Gilmore i own a few manceras i love aoud vanille but my sprayer broke basically a full useless bottle i cant use it . Its a beast that one is strong love the smell and its a magnetic cap so if its weaker then the screw cap i couldn't even imagine how strong that one was lol.. i haven't tried hindu kush does it just smell like cannabis?
Red tobacco smells similar too carlisle by parfums de marly on the opening and the dry down of honey aoud by montale which makes mancera fragrances too my nose has a nice sweet woody oud dry down with a spice synthetic bomb open its either harsh and you hate it or you love it cause its strong but it gets smoother the longer you wear red tobacco same with aoud vanille its harsh on opening but the more you wear it its smoother on the opening and you begin too love them . Aoud vanille is vanilla sweet smokey wood smell very smooth some leather notes in there that come off real nice and masculine.. i love both.. great performance on both..
Will be interested to get your full review on this. For me this was a scrubber. Felt like a uninspired Frankenstein version of BR540 with a really pungent amberwood or similar aroma chemical in the mid and dry down that I could not stand on my skin.
Instant Crush is definitely a compliment getter. It gets me more compliments than the overhyped Aventus.
I really like Instant Crush. I actually prefer it over BR540 and I love MFK in general

I believe mancera are not blind buy worthy because they have a quite particular signature. I really rather the montales 👌🏼
I think they are on par from what I see quality wise. I do resonate more with Montale but I have more of a history with them.

That amberwood is coming strong on this one that is true.
Awful scent, do not buy! And I tell no one the scent I wear.
For me this fragrance was an instant disgust with its ton of ethylmaltol.
Bought Cedrat boise long ago and never went back to the house, really wasn't impressed 🤷♂️ people like what they I guess but mehh...
Cedrat is next for me, we will see what I get... Mancera is one of those brands tho that either you love or just have no interest.
