It's now the middle of the night and I can smell this on me and it's still in beast mode after 18 hours, So I've just been online to order an 120ml bottle. I've now got a massive collection of frags and this...... oh boy it smashes the ball out of the park on performance compared to others. You reviewed this 4 years ago and it still has the same formulation on performance unlike many others where they get reformulated and become a pale copy of their former glory. If you want stunning Aroma and performance, this is it, BUY BUY BUY you won't regret it.

Mancera generally offers great quality. I own Red Tobacco and like it more than Herod (which I sold off) and Tobacco Vanille. One spray of RT on my body even survived an entire day at a spa. Other great Manceras are Cedrat Boise and Aoud Vanille. Instant Crush might just become my next Mancera. Can't wait to test it!

Good morning all, I ordered a bottle of Mancera Instant Crush after watching this review and received it 2 days ago. I really like this scent, very up front on all of the notes at first, for me it took a while to start mellowing out or toning down and the scent staid with me all day and i could smell it later into the evening, even after showering i could still smell it faintly on my skin. For me this was worth buying.

Its actually really good but you have to ask yourself if there's a big enough difference between Baccarat Rouge and Instant Crush co-exist in your collection. I already have BR540. as of now it's not different enough to purchase Instant Crush.

I’m curious how this compares to the TT release that’s also similar to BR540. Maybe I’ll grab a decant on a split. The extrait of 540 is superior to the EDP in my opinion. Far superior.
Just like Cedrat Boise is a deodorant version of Aventus, I think this one is the same. It's nice but 540 is a whole lot better to my nose, so the only reason to buy this cause it's cheaper. And that's the truth! :)
Serge Munitz A deodorant version implies that Mancera scents are less long-lasting that the fragrances they are modelled on. On the contrary - I get more longevity out of Cedrat Boise than I do Aventus.

If you prefer the smokiness in Aventus, then you might like Pineapple Vintage Noir from Parfums Vintage. Its their clone of the smoky batches of Aventus. Sample it from their website if you can.
When I sprayed 'In Amore' by Divina Terra I laughed oud loud and rather meanly thought to myself 'Baccarat Rouge, anyone'? It is the most blatant, shameless BR rip off and clearly the folks who use Fragrantica agree. I don't think there are any written reviews on there, it's as if people don't want to dignify In Amore by spending time taking it seriously and voting it's tenacity and projection is enough time wasted. I have strong feelings about clone houses and people making money parasitically by investing in a chromatograph, a lab assistant, a graphic designer and an accountant and then circling the social media playing field like predators preying on the weakest beasts in the grazing herd. How anybody respects and financially supports clone houses is beyond me. However, Mancera are NOT a clone house. I REALLY enjoy a clutch of Mancera and Montale fragrances. What I'm unsure about is why the two houses houses exist seperately. I'd love someone in 'frag comm' to really pick the business brains behind these houses (and Mr Pierre Montale himself) to ask him about his business strategy. There are reasons, I'm sure. However when you see one house release 'Roses Vanille' and another release 'Intense Cafe' isn't it a bit of a redundancy all round? Still, both emerge triumphant and have incredibly loyal customer bases. How fascinating and compelling, no? Anyhow, my main point of contention is: why would a high-end niche house effectively copy a classic fragrance created by one of their hardworking, long suffering peers working in this demanding professional field? I've lost count of the amount of BR "clones" out there. I admit to losing genuine respect for a house when I experience a blatant olfactory theft. I'll stop writing now as I'll really start to kick off about this. When people understand the industry and know what was at stake for the original perfumer, the work they put in, the risks taken all round...tsk tsk tsk. WHYYYYY?! Divina Terra, Mancera and all the others: You're a niche house, you're supposed to be driven to create thrilling and exclusive fragrances not steal!! For shame!

Scents are unisex. I personally love more "feminine" fragrances and how they mix with my skin chemistry. Sometimes you want to smell like a super masculine rugged man with leather, oud and other notes. Other times you want to smell sweeter or like floral notes. To each their own
Thanks for the question. I don't believe that fragrances have gender, only personality. Floral notes don't have ovaries, and leather notes don't have testicles. You know what I mean? If it smells good, it smells good. And you'd be surprised how much women actually enjoy these "feminine" scents on men.

Sarah A Mancera is a great house to start with for niche. If you’re looking for a sweet fragrance, go for Instant Crush. If you want something fresh and woody, Kumkat Wood is good. Those are the only two I have. I have a decant of Cedrat Boise, which is also beautiful. A fruity, woody and musky scent. I plan to get a bottle sometime. What part of the world are you in?

You can buy a sample box from mancera itself. Bought it and it came with instant crush, and bought it minutes after smelling the sample.

Hi. Im soon finih with BCR540 of 70 ml bottle, i like, its wery nice, but is to expencive. In not shore is mancera ok. Now mancera have also instant crush but L’or Collection. Im not shore is it worth to buy blind eyed.
This fragrance is ok and unique but it is nowhere near as special as Baccarat is. It also leans more masculine.

I don't know why but I enjoy the idea of being able to dry my scent before heading out for the day.

If you prefer the smokiness in Aventus, then you might like Pineapple Vintage Noir from Parfums Vintage. Its their clone of the smoky batches of Aventus. Sample it from their website if you can.

When I sprayed 'In Amore' by Divina Terra I laughed oud loud and rather meanly thought to myself 'Baccarat Rouge, anyone'? It is the most blatant, shameless BR rip off and clearly the folks who use Fragrantica agree. I don't think there are any written reviews on there, it's as if people don't want to dignify In Amore by spending time taking it seriously and voting it's tenacity and projection is enough time wasted. I have strong feelings about clone houses and people making money parasitically by investing in a chromatograph, a lab assistant, a graphic designer and an accountant and then circling the social media playing field like predators preying on the weakest beasts in the grazing herd. How anybody respects and financially supports clone houses is beyond me.
However, Mancera are NOT a clone house. I REALLY enjoy a clutch of Mancera and Montale fragrances. What I'm unsure about is why the two houses houses exist seperately. I'd love someone in 'frag comm' to really pick the business brains behind these houses (and Mr Pierre Montale himself) to ask him about his business strategy. There are reasons, I'm sure. However when you see one house release 'Roses Vanille' and another release 'Intense Cafe' isn't it a bit of a redundancy all round? Still, both emerge triumphant and have incredibly loyal customer bases. How fascinating and compelling, no? Anyhow, my main point of contention is: why would a high-end niche house effectively copy a classic fragrance created by one of their hardworking, long suffering peers working in this demanding professional field? I've lost count of the amount of BR "clones" out there.
I admit to losing genuine respect for a house when I experience a blatant olfactory theft. I'll stop writing now as I'll really start to kick off about this. When people understand the industry and know what was at stake for the original perfumer, the work they put in, the risks taken all round...tsk tsk tsk. WHYYYYY?! Divina Terra, Mancera and all the others: You're a niche house, you're supposed to be driven to create thrilling and exclusive fragrances not steal!! For shame!

Why are there so many guys that don’t kind wearing feminine smelling colognes? Prada and YSL L’Homme, BR 540, Givenchy Gentleman EDT, the list goes on and on. All incredibly feminine.
I don’t think a man has any business smelling flowery, powdery, or wearing anything where Neroli is prominent.

Scents are unisex. I personally love more "feminine" fragrances and how they mix with my skin chemistry. Sometimes you want to smell like a super masculine rugged man with leather, oud and other notes. Other times you want to smell sweeter or like floral notes. To each their own
Thanks for the question. I don't believe that fragrances have gender, only personality. Floral notes don't have ovaries, and leather notes don't have testicles. You know what I mean? If it smells good, it smells good. And you'd be surprised how much women actually enjoy these "feminine" scents on men.

Sarah A Mancera is a great house to start with for niche. If you’re looking for a sweet fragrance, go for Instant Crush. If you want something fresh and woody, Kumkat Wood is good. Those are the only two I have. I have a decant of Cedrat Boise, which is also beautiful. A fruity, woody and musky scent. I plan to get a bottle sometime. What part of the world are you in?
