There is one problem with the Lamborghini Aventador . Its just too damn common! The Infinity Vaydor is just so much cooler because it more RARE.

the body kit $11,000, interior from Vaydor $5000 you can buy a g35 with a blown motor from a salvage yard at around $1200-$5000, new built g35 motor 2-$3000 depending on what you want done that's installed..... so that's a total of $19,000 -$24,000 before paint and wheels which can vary impressing dramatically so at 60 - $80,000 you guys must be making a killing?
+douglass enriquez At first I thought the same thing as yourself. But nice rims/tires are going to be $2-5K realistically. A high quality paint job is going to set you back $5-12k depending on what you go with. Engine work between dressing up, to add ons, and tuning would be $1200-5K. And I'm sure all the work involves 2-5 guys either working on these full time or part time. Is it alot? Oh yea it is. But I think for the amount of custom work it's not overpriced. I'd personally rather pick up a lightly worked NSX, Supra, M6, or Viper if I had that kind of money. But then again if these guys can build you an AWD, LS V8 powered, unique/custom, semi-super car, that could potentially smoke an R8 or GTR. $80K is a hell of a deal!

douglass enriquez , that's wats I was sayin . So I contacted this shop called super crafted cars that is known for making vaydors all supped up. And I ask how they charge for the whole thing. And the person that replied said that their prices start at 90k. And like you I said how come? If the donor car cost from 7 to 11 k and the kit is 11k plus 3k for the interior. And I was seeing around that some start from 35k up to 130k if u want them all supped up and shit.
They should of put the motor in the back to make it a true supercar!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm thinking of building the vaydor but I don't have any equipment or tools to do that. Do you need to buy a nother engine or can you just use the one from the Infinity? And how long do you think it would take to build if two people are working on it?
Weeeellll... If you are thinking about building the Vaydor really badly.... Then first thing you NEED to make clear from the beginning is that your pockets run very deep and cost is no longer a factor. The tools to install the body kit about 2000. Body kit is 15,000, Interior is 6000 (with seats and other stuff, you can negotiate this if you are purchasing the previous), You can use the standard G35 V6 engine (About 270-284hp for a car that looks like its around 650+hp). If 2 people are working the car it depends on your automotive mechanical awareness and how good you are of following the directions (Usually about 1-3 weeks if you know what you are doing (Maybe additional to reduce panel gaps and make sure everything stays intact under high usage). Lol I'm not even going to mention a high end paint job cost... Also the expenses doesn't end there especially if you want it to crank out super car performance. Tuned Suspension + Big Brake Kit + Turbo/Super Charger Kit w/Tune + Build Motor or engine swap plus the previous expenses $XX,000. At the end of the process you get a "erhmaghad amazing g35 that is custom fit for you" or you realize you can save on the labor and spend the bread on another luxury vehicle. 2010-12 GTR, BMW, Maserati, Aston Martin, Lotus, Porsche?, 2008-2010 Bentley C-GT. you are absolutely correct here... We tell our customer to expect to spend AT LEAST $50k to build their own Vaydor or AT LEAST $75k to have one built.
sounds like it could take you two roughly 2 years to get it complete. however the Engine can stay and is fast with no major upgrades needed as you are chopping out 500 lbs+/- of original car including side panels, support beams, heavy front seats (too tall for vaydor roof line), rear seats, trunk, spare, side windows ect. . . it alot of work and requires a good knowledge of electronics, welding, fabricating and body work. Battery gets relocated, SRS system get removed, steering column has to be lowered with new vaydor dash, emergency brake gets relocated, moon roof gets cut out, window wipers, mirrors gas filler line and exhaust exit HAVE to all be reconfigured. This new body requires special offset wheels specific to vaydor which runs 5-8k just for wheels that have to be used. Also looks funny without coil-overs to lower and set the car and large break disk to fill the wheel . . . .Budget 40k to build it yourself or closer to 60k if you have shops and painters help. even more if you plan to motor swap or juice up the stock motor.
The G35 is roughly 3500 lbs before the retrofit to the Vaydor body. I have never weighed one but it will be less for sure.

+RamseyLEL LS1 G35X would not work. No room for a front differential and no AWD trans for the LS1
+zfeverrocks Are the newer hemi engines of comparable size to the LS platform? Because some chargers come in AWD. I guess if there just isn't room for a front differential tho it's a moot point. Ah well, the Vaydor is still incredibly badass!
+RamseyLEL I have no idea the size of the HEMI engine. Have never had one here... I know the 6.2L has been swapped into a G35 already. I have seen it.

Place an APS twin turbo kit on the LS1. Drop some borla attacks in it and last don't forget the porsche transaxle.
What was the curb weight after finishing the project. The g35 is about 3500 lbs. what's the vaydor?

+Jack Verdezola By "it" do you mean teh LS1 swap or the entire Vaydor? LS1 swaps start at around $12k and go up from there... The entire Vaydor kit can be built for approx $60k at the least however, most people end up spending in the $80k+ range.
Well the kit, with the interior and brakes and everything is 20k, a donor g35 would probably be around 5k but I'd buy one with a blown engine or something cause I wouldn't need it anyway, ls swap is around 10-15k, best case scenario probably 40,000 but I don't know how much it'd cost to install the kit

can you install a Lamborghini or Ferrari engine and transmission in this? also is it possible to change the dashboard settings to emulate such as vehicles?
There isn't anything that can't be done. It's just the cost to do it. If you were going to install a Lambo or Ferrari engine the cost of the entire project would easily be more than simply buying a Lambo of Ferrari. At least an older one.
+zfeverrocks would you consider your twin turbo 1000 hp engine to produce near the 200+ mph limit. if so, I'm game
Well, we are building a 1000whp VQ41DETT engine right now (4.1L stroked VQ35DE twin turbo) and installing it into an 06 Infiniti G35. We will have it done next month so I guess we will find out. ! LOL.... Although this customer is changing out the 3.73 gear ratio for a Tomei with a 3.90 which makes it faster with a lower top end speed.

We have never worked with this V12 engine and as a rule BMW has proprietary ECU's that are difficult to work with. But a stand alone fuel management system could be employed to make it run.

+Bilal Sulaman Absolutely! No problem! As for RHD though..... I would have to get with Matt (the body designer) to discuss the RHD part. The Dash would have to be re-engineered for that application. Are you looking at building more than one? Or jsut a single version for yourself?

+Robert Nash This set up made 350whp. It is roughly the same as a turbo VQ35. I personally prefer the boosted VQ. But now we just pulled the LS1 and built it, installed cam, etc... Should be better now.

+law jackson This customer wanted an automatic so we are running the LS1 auto trans. With the stock G35 diff. They are very strong and can handle a lot of power. 800hp is no issue
+zfeverrocks I was more concerned with the gear ratios and strength than anything else so I was thinking about swapping in the 2004 armada 2.94:1 rear end with the bigger hubs and half shafts in it. I think this should all fit in the G35 and be even stronger.

THE g35 IS NOT THAT FAST, If you want it fast you will want to add a turbo. Any 03-07 G35 coupe will work.

I want some numbers on the LS swap. What kind of performance are you getting? Also, are there any video's of the Vaydor launching with an LS?
LS1 swap costs have a LOT of variables... LS1, LS2, LS3, LS7, LS9...?? Auto or manual? cam? intake? fuel system? gauges? mount kit? and then of course... there is the "look" and quality of the build... I wouldn't even begin to do an LS1 swap for less than $12k. But most we do end up being $18k + To give you an example... the LS1 5-spd full used engine swap is roughly $3500. The LS2 6-spd swap is over $6k... The CX Racing mount kit for LS to G35 starts at $1800 but the Sikky kit is like $4k... And you haven't even started on labor yet.

yes, the Vaydor is built from an 03-07 Infiniti G35 coupe
What's the time frame from order to delivery?
it depends on what you want and your specific build. It also depends on if you want to buy one we already have in process... But in general.. they take 10+ months to build

+Joey Guerro Don't listen to anyone that says you can build a Vaydor for $20-$25k. The reality is.... you will have $60k++++ in one if you build it yourself. Used G35 (running and driving) at least $4500, body kit.. $15000, interior $7500, body install materials and tools $2000, (if you pay someone to install the body its like $25000 labor), Big 8-piston brake kit front and 4-piston rear $4500, 22" custom wheels and tires $6000, Quality paint and body to make it look like a $500k car..... $8000+, THEN.... add a single turbo kit installed and tuned $7500 or twin turbo kit installed and tuned $12000 then add a built motor to make 600hp+...... another $7500....... add it up! But worth every cent!

we have already done LS1, LS7, RB25, RB26, VK45, and VK56 swaps. I think it is best to leave the VQ35 engine and build it woth forged internals, then boost it... That is only my opinion
I am a Ford Guy and I was wondering if any of the newer ford Mod engines like the 5.0L Coyote (with a Whipple or Kenne Bell or Pro-Charger?) or a 3.5L Eco-Boost V6 Twin Turbo (with Bigger Turbos) or even the Eco-Boost Turbo 2.3L engine with a bigger Turbo would fit? Thanks and God Bless!

yes.... anything is possible. The Cayote Engine would be pretty cool!
Now, I would go with the Ford 5.0L Coyote engine, but the Hood looks pretty low, is it possible to still use a S/C on top like a Whipple? Also what type of Auto trans the 03-07 infinity G35 coupe comes with? I would like to use the Ford 6-sp 6R80 Auto Trans with a custom Paddle shift setup! Thanks and God Bless!
