    Appreciate you taking the time to make this video. Just got finished installing on my .75 and pretty sure I'm going to love it.

    Great video! I have been thinking about doing this for a while. This confirms that I am not the only one with this thought. I have the XOP strap system right now and the lack of contour to my body leaves the system uncomfortable when hiking deep into public land. For a short hike the XOP system will work but anything over a mile the XOP system becomes uncomfortable. The XOP system is still better than loose backpack straps that come with most mobile tree stands. The Kuiu system looks like the answer. With a contoured frame and the suspension system with lumbar pad, it looks like you could hike for miles and miles. I ordered my KUIU system and may consider using Paracord to connect the frame to the tree stand. I hope the price is worth it. I am using a Lone Wolf hand climber and can't wait to make this happen.

      You’ll love it man, your climber will feel like half the weight. It’s truly one piece of gear I still use on every hunt

      @@Saddlehntr that’s awesome to hear. I am pumped. I want to be able to go in 3 miles where other hunters won’t go. The easy hikes in, get over hunted. Deer on public land get smart really quick as to where not to travel.

    May consider using a/c band straps. Thicker, stronger, tighter. That or rope. I actually bought just the harness hoping I could rig it up...went ahead and just ordered a plate and bag....trad bow podcast just straps the stand to his 2300 bag. I opted for the 3600 just to make sure it would have enough space, and hopefully it could suit all my needs. Thanks for the video!

      I was lucky enough to catch it while it was on sale. Just keep your eyes peeled, I got the set for 30% off during a summer sale

    What length frame did you buy? Not sure if I need a 22” or 24” for my .75.

    Are you still using this system? How has it worked out over the years? Im looking at doing this to my beast stand. Thx.

    • @Saddlehntr
      @Saddlehntr  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@keckmatt8 it’s situational, for short leg hunts it’s a bit overkill. I guess it really depends on how deep you’re going. Sometimes a deer cart or dragging is worth it vs packing out in the moment

    Thanks for the video! Do you have to use it with the carbon frame or can the shoulder straps and lumbar support be put on the stand platform like the ones that come with the stand?

    • @Saddlehntr
      @Saddlehntr  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, yes you can directly add the shoulder straps and waist belt to the stand without the carbon fiber frame however it’s best used with the frame as that’s the structure you’re relying on to pack out. If you’re not going to use the frame, the shoulder straps would need to be zip tied to the stand and it’s not a great option long term for the straps.
