Jac 2024 Turkey Hunt
We left the field that morning with a closer bond as I set stones to building a foundation of tradition in the turkey woods with my son.

You are obviously left-handed. Good tip I like it.
@@glennflake5732 long live the lefties!
What Sitka bag is that? Or is it the lid off another pack? If so, thats a good idea.
@@PacificNorthwestBowhunting Sitka tool belt, it’s modified tho. I cut the side panels off of it to make it more of a utility bag that rides on the stand
@@SaddlehntrNice, thanks for thr quick reply. Subscribed 👊
@@PacificNorthwestBowhunting anytime, thanks man!
I agree with PR glass. You don’t need to open up the system. It should just peel right off.
Awesome. You the man!!! Thanks.
l
Nice video
@@tushers thanks!
Thanks for the review. Do I need that tall seat post on the 1.0 I’m 6 foot.
Ah! Good idea! Saddle hunters always be DIY’ing it!
Always!
Are you still using this system? How has it worked out over the years? Im looking at doing this to my beast stand. Thx.
@@keckmatt8 it’s situational, for short leg hunts it’s a bit overkill. I guess it really depends on how deep you’re going. Sometimes a deer cart or dragging is worth it vs packing out in the moment
Great video and detail, would love to see the Ranger Hybrid against the .5 or .75 and how the longer platform potentially aids in total shot angle as a hybrid setup
What belt is this ? Do you used this with a lineman’s rope to climb then use the drat when in position ??

Nice man! Thanks for sharing!
All platforms flex? I'm glad my Trophy line EDP is the exception. Rock solid and built better
@@aaronmeeks1155 yep, they all flex!
How long its your rooe Sr

Nice job.
Thanks!
I ended up with the 1.0 standard setup a month ago. I would still be trying to decide between these stands if it weren't for your detailed video! I ended up going with the 1.0 because my feet are so big. I wear a 14 and was concerned I'd catch my rubber boots against the cables in the heat of the moment and it squeak. I hunt in eastern NC overgrown pine woods and have no issue with the width of the stand catching on anything but the 20" doubles catch on just about everything I have to duck under. I'd go with the 17" doubles if I did it over again.
Great choice, hard to beat the 1.0 for space.
Great tip
Glad it was helpful!
Why turn the top hand hold climber belt opposite of the foot climb belt stand. That will be very slippery on a wet tree. Not safe at all.
I like them, but I have to use the load lift attachments that you have there to the far right and left and move them to the inside Otherwise my double sticks will not integrate on the post because the contact points on the sticks hit them when I’m stacking them.
What length frame did you buy? Not sure if I need a 22” or 24” for my .75.
@@MitchWilsonOutdoors either will work but I’d recommend the regular
I recognized your name, think I got my .75 from you! Did you go back to the .75? I'm considering going back to the .5
Sweet setup brother I was literally about to ask if you was still running the Kuiu frame pack setup . I’m definitely in the market todo something different I can’t deal with these regular LWCG straps man my .75 is rubbing my back raw it feels like …
@@BIGRED1439 the KUIU straps are great, yes still running them. You’ll need to DIY them to the stand with zip ties which will require you to cut them to make it work. The KUIU straps also go on sale, just wait for them to price drop
Bro that’s fire right their man would love to see a full break down video of that sweet setup if you still have the gear to it !!!
@@BIGRED1439 check out my channel, I have a full breakdown on the setup
@@Saddlehntr thanks brother I see it now watching your videos definitely have me watching for sales on Kifaru now …

Thank you now I know for sure to order the 1.0 and way on side of room an comfort vs saving a few ounces vs .75
All the nuts and bolts of these three stands laid out in a perfect comparison! I went with the .75 -20"post-large seat.. Thanks for all the great shots of all the stands.
Anytime, thanks for the comment man!
Where do you get the bow hanger?
Love the idea!! What connectors are you using to hook together the bottom of your Sherman kit to the bottom of the medium pack attached? And cinch straps from Kifaru? Thanks!!
@@christophertomberlin you can zip tie them if you want a quick fix or what I use is a webbing connection clip. a.co/d/0gys3Ccq
Switch out that carabiner for a gear tie. 👍🏼
Hi Ryan, is your website working? We tried to contact you but can't access your website. Thank you
Best over strap video thank you
What’s your preference?
It’s situational, but with that said I’ve sold my .75 and 1.0. I’ve been hunting hybrid with the .5 but if I were to exclusively stand hunt I probably would have kept the .75.
@@Saddlehntr gotcha I have the original 1.0 and the 2.0 with a 22 inch post which I love I’m thinking about getting the 1.0 again the new generation so that I have more tiedown straps and integrates better, running the 20inch doubles
The Sherman pocket also accepts the X-ray shoulder straps. I saw someone sell a custom Sherman Pocket. But for less than 10 pounds the regular straps work fine.
Thanks for the review
Appreciate that, thanks for tuning in Ben!
That's pretty slick man. I might try this!
I use a similar setup for early season. But instead of a Sherman I use Kifaru hydro harness and a large pocket on that. Sweet setup
I would have NEVER thought to rock my Sherman like a hip quiver - BRILLIANT! 👏🏼
It’s Shermazing!
Dude thats slick as seal shit
I ain’t never seen that poop before!
I run a sherman on my shape charge and i absolutely love it! I like the idea of the medium bag attached to the sherman. Think ill give that a try, good idea.
Just found a Sherman used on fb for $50! Score and I can’t wait to try it out early season for sure like you are rocking it. Thanks for the video
Solid! You’re already on it man!
This is a great idea!!! Thanks
Glad you like it!
Think I’ll wait on the new 2lb one from tethrd
This guy must be crazy for $1g 😂
looks like the carbon teeth dont actually bite they just slide up and down whenever you switch sides. the predator with teeth doesnt slide like that? im going with the arsenal razr i think. good review
Thank you, ya the teeth aren’t chamfered to bite. It’s really the camming action that locks it in place. In bigger trees, the platform slides
@@Saddlehntr Razr it is. thanks do you like the razr better?
@@Stykbow it’s pricey but I’d hold off, they are getting ready to drop their RZR 2.0 any day.
Any other company that makes stands is just trying to be like LWCG. Nothing better than
2.0 All day sits
Nice review These are things I was thinking I have a lot tether gear but I’ll probably stick with the original predator
$1000, WTF is it made of gold?
That’s slick
I’m just a guy that like to get in between limbs. I like cover. So climbers are out for me. Lock on and saddles
No way I would spend $1000.00 to upgrade for a climber when legacy Lone wolf climbers work great.
