Very nice and fun video! I’m already fluent in English, but there’s always room to improve and I love Australian English so thank you and I hope your channel grows a lot and you’re able to keep making these videos. Despite what the other commenter said, I think this video is very useful as comprehensible input for people in lower levels and it’s useful for me too as I always want to keep improving my accent and learning new things. Maybe you could add “comprehensible input” to the title of the videos so it’s easier to find for people who are looking for that type of content and to filter out comments like that one. 😊
Thanks so much for your comment, Comprehensible Input is the linguists language for the way babies learn to speak and its the way Ive learnt languages. I want to give back to other people because without videos like these in MY target languages I would never have got there
The title of this video is very confusing about learning English ? it's just a Home video about Victor Harbour Nothing else and South Australians don't talk as if they're reading
Thanks for your comment and congrats on your advanced level of English! This is taken from the description of this video This video is intended as a learning tool to bridge the gap between school learnt or learn to speak style courses and full speed conversation or radio. They are spoken in slightly slower than normal English with the Native Australian Accent including everyday language and slang as you would naturally encounter in australia. You can use youtubes own playback speed settings to slow this down even more if you are a beginner or speed it up a little if you are more advanced. Select your subtitles in your language as needed I have learnt french, Spanish and am learning hebrew and find these types of resources invaluable. I enjoy seeing their country to. So I apologise, but this channel is created mostly as a language tool, but it's not for everyone and people will outgrow this channel as their English improves , as you have. I wish you all good luck as you continue your english learning journey 😊
@ I've been learning the South Australian aboriginal language and the best way to do it is to break the sentences up and have someone speaking them .but of course if you know all these fancy European languages You probably know better than a humble TH-cam clown from Adelaide lol
