XLT FX4 4k tow with P235 tires I wouldn't even consider the Lariat or the Tremor. I need the towing and payload capabilities and I'm not ever going to buy vinyl, synthetic leather, or leather seats. That's just me, I would have liked the lockers but not worth losing what I need. Then to top it off the reason I'm buying a Maverick is mileage, I don't think a 5 mpg hit on hwy is acceptable. FYI with both having p235 tires your looking at only about a 1/2 difference in ground clearance. 8.85 vs 9.4 but it doesn't matter you are buying it and that's why they offer different configurations and options. Best of luck with your tremor.
These Mavericks are popular for sure. I’m in rural South Dakota so when I ordered my first one it never came in. They placed the same order again and it never arrived. Now I can go less than 100 miles and see several on the lot including a couple of Tremors last week. They cost 25% more than before but I don’t think the Mexicans making them any raise at all. So I’m still looking and what I’m seeing is some screaming deals on used full size trucks. No doubt I like these Mavericks a lot but my wallet is keeping me away. Your lineup looks very nice.
I test drove a Tremor before I opted for the Lariat awd fx4. The Tremor is so nice for sure. Im with you on that rear window, it really does let some nice air in the cabin. I'm over 2 weeks in, and I know for sure the Maverick was the right choice for me. Your reviews are excellent and hopefully helpful to ppl who are on the fence about buying one of these trucks.
Wow Becky, thanks for your kind words. I am a rookie trying to be different than the channels that make you stare at them most of the time. My cameras are pointed at the Maverick.
I ordered my Lariat in May of 2023. Took exactly 5 months to arrive. The hybrid deliveries at the time were around 18 months. I also paid msrp and got a good trade in for my 2019 4 year old F150 Lariat thanks to used car price bubble. Moving to the 2023 Maverick cost me $6,400.00USD out the door. Keep in mind that a fully loaded Lariat in 2023 was around $37,000.00 in US dollars and that's around $50,000.00 Canadian dollars.
The Mav XLT AWD 4k is at our place in Park City. This Tremor will end up there too. 2 at each house because we each need our own transpo for our work schedules.
I would have loved a Tremor instead of my 2023 Lariat but I would have missed the 4k tow package and better fuel economy. I just could not justify the tremor for the extra off road and deep snow capability that I would use less than 1% of the time. I do love my Lariat Alto blue with black out appearance package and feel that it was the right choice for me. That Tremor is pretty though. Bob in Ottawa
Hi again Bob! Yes if you need to tow, you made the right decision. Since the Mav is like buying 2 trucks for the price of 1 full size, maybe buy the T also. Spread the miles out between them they will last twice as long.
@@fordmaverickmaniac I don't tow often and when I do it is usually under 2000lbs but I want to tow that weight in a vehicle that doesn't know it's there and if I have to tow something heavier, I can. Oh and the passing power and overall performance of the 2.0l is a must. I don't drive many miles a year so the extra fuel economy of the hybrid is almost meaningless. We get harsh winters where I live so the AWD makes more sense for me
If you were given $40k to buy either a Maverick Lariat AWD FX4 with 4k tow or a Maverick Lariat Tremor with max 2k tow, which would you choose?
Hard choice.
Even towing 4,000 lbs is nothing unless you want to tow one of your other Mavericks.
@hongshi8251 Never thought of that. The Mav weighs about 3700 lbs. Great comment again Patrick!

Recently picked up my 2024 lariat tremor in black. Has everything but a moon roof. Absolutely love it!!!
There’s no denying that it’s a very appealing vehicle. Different trims for whatever you like.

I love the maverick. If I could I'd get one. Super neat little trucks
Order a custom build from a dealer that charges msrp they are out there. Ask any questions on my videos, glad to help Thunder!
