I would still choose the fwd model, I'm a big fan of keeping things simple and I think that's the least complex drivetrain. I can haul 1500 lbs in the bed so I'm happy.
Great vid.. too much fun! We finally got about 3 inches of snow this morning.. sadly by the time I got off work about 4pm the sun had came out and melted the roads clear..some still on the grassy areas..cheers buddy ..
I am in New York, we've had a moderate amount of snow, no problem at all for my fwd eco boost base model. Because of ground clearance it's much better than my fwd car in the snow. It also backed up my icy driveway nicely, using the front wheels to push uphill.
Yes Mr. Lee, in mostly flat areas, FWD works just fine in the snow. But on mountain roads where you need to climb steep slick streets and don't want to be stopped by chain control, get the Maverick AWD or Tremor.
I wanted to say hi again and update you on what I added to my 2024 XLT Maverick. I installed an FM transmitter and a CD player, a auto reverse cassette player and my Realistic 8track player. And yes it works great transmitting through the radio.
Wow, your state is considered one of the toughest in winter. Global warming at its finest. I am glad I am able to show you what the Maverick can do. That should help you prepare for when you finally get some. Great comment Mike. Thanks for your referrals!
If fuel cost was not part of your decision, would you choose the Maverick hybrid or the AWD version?

Thanks for your comments and loyalty Denny. You are my other favorite sub. But don't tell anyone, I don't want them to get jealous.

@mikekeech9718 You are funny Mr. Keech! I actually have a couple of 8 track tapes from a garage sale. One by America and the other by Bread.
@@mikekeech9718 How about a CB radio? I might be installing one of those😏
@@mrmrlee I would like to but don't know where I would run the antenna cable.
Wow
Still amazing to watch this. You have a lot of snow out there. Here in Minnesota still no snow here. So I can't try my Maverick AWD.
