The scene where Simon whispers into Wilhelm's ear and tells him "I love you" is to me THEIR BEST scene yet, in both seasons. In general, this season was much better than season 1, the acting, characters development especially Wilhelm's, storytelling, the suspension... everything was just on point.

i cant believe we only get one more season :\ my biggest concern is saras call to the police at the end of season 2. sets up some craziness for season 3. cant get enough of edvin and omar on screen!

Wilhelm needed that reassurance at the end, the I love you and Simon accepting him as he is, Simon saying he is willing to be with him even in secret if that´s what it takes meant so much for Wille.
One of the things i really loved about this season is how expressive Omar's eyes were, you can see every emotion behind it and just ugh, its phenomenal.
to me, my favorite scene has to be when wille gets up to close the curtains. simon’s face and the way they laugh afterwards is so cute i cant get over it
if we get a season three there better be all the wilmon fluff. gimme. i’ve never seen intimacy portrayed so beautifully in media, especially in queer media. young royals is truly something special. it does what no show dares to do.

As far as I’m concerned, EVERY scene with Wilhelm and Simon are their best scenes. 💜 I’ve watched a lot of TV programs, but Young Royals is definitely my all-time favorite. So much about it is so good - but especially the performances by Edvin & Omar. They’re able to convey so much through their expressions and body language. It’s a masterclass in acting. Please RENEW it for S3…and for the love of Wilmon and Lisa Ambjörn, give them a budget for MORE than 6 episodes. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💜💜 They more than deserve it, and so do fans.
The talent both of them have is so incredible. I am so so taken away by the way Edvin portrayed Wilhelms anxiety in such raw, honest and real way, I sometimes felt like watching myself. Even without talking their emotions and feelings are transported to the audience and I was so emotionally exhausted after I finished this season. I cannot stress enough how important this real representation of teenagers WITH FLAWS is and how important this season was for both of them. This show affected my life in so so many different but positive ways, I’ll be forever grateful to have discovered it and a huge huge thank you to everyone who is part of this art I can never thank you enough!

i'll never stop being fascinated at how good omar is acting. the kiss scene at the ball is so perfect and you're able to see their exactly thoughts and feelings without them having to speak at all. the way simon kind of furrows his brow? it reminds me of the pain of relaxing your muscles after a hard day, when you're so tense and exhausted and then you lay down on your bed for the night and it hurts to be able to sink into it, but the relief that comes from that pain is incomparable...

Willie is making his "confession" before all the assembled students, staff, press and palace officials, and he turns and looks directly at Simon. There is a look of terror in Simon's face - which turns to absolute joy when he realises that Willie has just put him, Simon, before everything else - school, parents and even the Crown. Such love.
