How did you set this up in ableton? I’ve been trying to find a video to do the send effect thing and haven’t found any. I can set it up to where I’m recording through going to the DAw but how do you get the audio tracks from ableton to play through the microcosm?

Very nice track and production, it reminds me of Massive Attack. Need to look into how I can run tracks from my DAW into the microcosm, very keen to try this as well. Love what this box can do to percussion.
Whoa, that kick knocked my subwoofer for a six! It has an enormous sound. Love this track - it would fit right into any Chill playlist. So understated but full! Great video.
Nice! Meem’s voice is so amazing! Love the Microcosm I’ve had mine awhile now and it’s been in constant use. So versatile I also find it’s useful on many different sources. It’s a cheat code haha
You seemed to check yourself when you said "Granular Synthesis on a vocal...as an effect". The expression "Granular Synthesis" is kinda a misnomer. What you are thinking of is actually "Sample-based synthesis" with a granular effect. "Granular" is an effect, using a delay and scattering the buffer. Karplus Strong is also a delay effect, but would qualify as a form of synthesis WAY before "Granular Synthesis". You are using an effect pedal to achieve "Granular Synthesis" after all. Just say'n.
@@TeftyMeems Indeed. I've seen it turning up on several different channels over the last year with many different styles of music, from electronic producers to ambient sax performers. I was turned on to the Polymoon too by just such a channel. The sax player had it at the end of his signal chain to add an ethereal wide stereo spread to the glitchiness of the Microcosm.
Awesome track! Still waiting for my Microcosm to arrive. The more I hear it, the Wavestate really piqued my interest more. Sounds perfect for the type of music I do.
Correct, full 100% for it to be a send effect. In terms of catch, I’m not entirely sure. The reverb doesn’t sound like it catches, but the other effects could operate that way.

Thank you! Just one audio interface that has 8 in and 24 out. Our patch bay allows us to route things as needed for external hardware.
