Great teaching video. You nailed how to safely move a vehicle on and off the trailer with the right equipment. Congrats.

Hey hey! It’s a towing synthetic rope rated to pull about 4500 pounds. It’s def thin as heck tho!

My winch has a quarter cable. It's a 4,500 pnd capacity strong arm winch.

the light cable he is using is just looking for trouble as you can see. If for some unforeseen reason you have a car up halfway up the ramp and it stops and puts more pressure on the light cable and it breaks there is no body to stop it from rolling down the ramps. Where will it end up at ( in the lake!) As for the Question of the small j hooks I would use the t slot hooks as they wont fall out like the s j hooks this from an average 6 tows a day for 6 dats a week for over 3 years. Your life is worth more than that . all I ever used is 1/2 in. cable and had 2 vehicles break my cable fortunate they both had their e break on. so they didn't roll. Unloading can be done with snatch block but you need some way to control the removal of the car. If you do as was instructed in this vid you are taking the winch off the vehicle to hook to the snatch block on the trailer. As for the tie down whether you are doing this on your own or as a professional you are still required to read and follow the puc and dot regulations this requires a attachment at all 4 corners of the vehicle . Please check the information given in these video's

Greetings Mr. Krenek. Thx for watching and I respect your exp. and knowledge and feed back...definitely hear you bro far as the t over the J. I will look more into using the t for educational purposes but I never have an issue with the j's so I never think outside of that thought but def will now that you mentioned it. as that what the "light cable"I hear you man it may seem light but its rated for 5,500 pounds and like I said in the vid, I don't winch anything heavier than what the securement gear is rated for so I don't think its such a bad idea to use it for just to snatch off but far as what you're saying in regards to having another line attached so in case it breaks the loads don't roll off is def true and I def appreciate the words or advice.I thought about bit and I've figured out a way to unload the inop with a safer maneuver which ill share in a video soon. but thx again sir and keep em dirty and rollin!!!lol
