Holy smokes thank you so much. I forgot my pattern and I was not able to get into my phone. It took me 50 of tents until I finally figured out that I have to factory reset. Thank you so much for teaching me how to do this.
Thanks I think I did it right but will never know for sure cause my screen was completely smashed and couldn't see a thing lol! I just counted how many times you pressed the up& down buttons and the screen did light up as if it was performing the way it was in the video so fingers crossed cause I have to send it back to the manufacturer so I can get this stupid hold off my account lol. Thanks again! 🤘🙌
How do u like the phone? I just got one yesterday. The touch seems to have a small delay. Maybe it has the tap delay setting. Will have to look after work

@worldoftech i did not select wipe data/factory reset...how do i go back and use the first option in settings. i am returning the phone to motorola. please help.
What about if the phone has a password and is locked? It saysvi have to put account password and email in order to use the phone after reset. Please explain
Wouldn't it not need the first part if you have the phone turned off then push the Vol Down and power button till u see the logo then release only the power button, then will bring you to the screen where you tap to highlight the wipe partition.
Ok I didn’t delete the email before the hard reset and then afterwards I deleted the email and don’t remember the password, just deleted it from the parent supervisor account.. it’s not letting me bypass entering the old email and then says it’s no longer active? So it’s not letting me move forward with a new one

hello i have a problem with my phone well kinda i forgot my pin and i reseted my phone and i have to put it if i wanna continue
im having this same problem. after hard resetting my phone it still asks for my password to continue . its becoming a head banger

How do I clear the cache partition?? Clearing the cache partition every couple months is great for every android phone. But I don't see that option
Is there a difference (in terms of impact on the phone) between the two methods?
Doing it thru the boot loader it actually wipes more and lines up the partition

I made to hard reset flash boot flash but push recovery mode from power button nothing happen
