  • I built the Perfect straight edge guide for my hypertherm plasma cutter allowing me to cut over 1" plate STRAIGHT! Who needs a $20,000 1/2" plate shear!
    Track length: 11.5ft long
    Weight: 44lbs
Cost: $200 labor cost to build and salvage the parts from a scrapped CNC table.

Do you know what I saw it in the list as I was watching your video and I've subbed him. Pretty cool isn't it. Radial arm saws are awesome and that works so well. I wish I had one but there rare as rocking horse shit in the uk. If only we could go back in time and collect the stuff we don't have anymore but wish we kept haha

I've been thinking about buying an everlast plasma cutter but was concerned that my free hand cutting would not be very good. I never thought that I could use templates that weren't made of metal.

Good tool, every one has their preferences but I find that pulling the plasma torch is much easier and gives a nicer cut than pushing it for those of you just getting into hand held plasma cutting.

Didn't get a very good look at your track, is it a track from a sliding pocket door? Doesn't make sense though because they are made to have the door hanging from the track. We have a bunch of 3/8 and 1/2 plates we need to cut up, that would be ideal. Jim

Imagine a clothesline with "reduced gearing" attached,so to steady(govern) your movement in time. "a study in roughness" Bubbazametti
