Had to re-upload this for perfections sake.. sad.. let me know how you feel about the video type and tone, pretty sure i wasn't consistent with my voice.
This game is very nostalgic for me. My grandma married a man who became my best grandfather/father figure. Sadly, due to my grandmothers poor treatment of us, I haven’t spoken to him in almost a decade. Not many people play or talk about this on TH-cam, so I thank you very much for a nice length video retrospective.
bro I watched for a good ten minutes before realizing u had 29 subs, this was very well made, and ur voice is top notch, subbing fr. Also sucks that the computer version is pretty bad compared to the switch version, Ive also noticed that the chieftess and grub that meets u after stranger reveals himself as a steef, they are both male grub.
Dude…I never knew you could upgrade the creatures. As a kid I used to breeze through campaigns even if I love the game and I love Stranger’s Wrath. Still have it on my Xbox Series S.
Awesome video on this awesome game!! Ngl, I also thought you were gonna bash it bc of the vid's thumbnail, but after learning about your hellish experience with the PC port I get it now. Your editing and humour was GREAT -- the vid had me smirking, and I had to pause it to laugh at the D. Caste Raider part. Thanks a lot for this review xDD Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath was my introduction to this franchise and it's one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. You could really tell that there was passion, dedication, and artistry poured into every inch of this spin-off; plus the HD remaster version looks beautiful. It's weird how in one iteration of the HD version, the one I played, there's some audio issues -- such as the Grubb Leader and Jo Mama sounding male, though it's not that big of deal. It runs and plays as smooth as butter on Xbox. Anyways, I'm fully invested in the Oddworld franchise now. Also, I hope we get a sequel to Stranger's Wrath someday - as there's a clear set-up for it - but for now it's also just fine as a standalone game imo. Back in the late 2000s, I doubt my mom would've allowed me to play this gem either, but maybe she would've allowed it lol. People who got to experience this gem as a child were and are lucky. This is definitely the badass bounty-hunting furry western of all time.
Cant agree more with your assessment, its a charming and unique game that definitely stood out in my gaming history. Thank you for the wonderful words of support, btw!!!
I bought & played the original Xbox version upon release, and it was awesome, with no technical problems or bugs, And I bought the 2022 xbox1 version upon release, and it is still awesome, And with absolutely no bugs or performance issues. So apparently performance issues are exclusive to PC’s.
I really loved this review! Very nice style of comedy (I chuckled hard at the Caste Raider section 😂). I played Strangers Wrath back on the original Xbox. It’s a cult classic. I did not know about the deleted content or storyboards you showed. I’m definitely going to check those out. This was a wonderful trip down memory lane. Take my like and subscription sir!
@@Oakoms My dad was a gamer. I got to play Thief:The Dark Project as a 6 year old. I had some nightmares about being trapped in labyrinths with zombies when I was a kid. Nowadays I feel nostalgic for it.
Not appropriate for 13? I probably first played it around 8 or 9, aside from the occasional "Ass" or "bastard", and some cartoonish violence and deaths I think its a pretty reasonable game for youngish children. I also spent an uncommom amount of time just exploring the gameworld and speaking to everyone, including taking whoever of the bosses alive just so I could talk to them. Still remember looting that apple farm stash over 20 years later. A real memorable game I wish this studio had done more, gbey seem in a sort of semi retirement for now
You're right, I rented this from blockbuster at like 11-12 However, my very religious Mom would have taken it away if she heard some of the parts in this game. Like Conkers Bad Fur Day

That's a finely crafted review of a terribly underappreciated game!

@hannahbrown5465 video games sure do have a special way of being attached to memories. Just like a song. Im glad you enjoyed the video!
Great video. I honestly was worried that this video would diss Stranger's Wrath because of the thumbnail 😂❤
Thanks for the support!
Bro hearing fable 2 soundtrack here earnt you a subscriber. I also agree with all you had to say about this game. Also, attractive voice. #nohomo
Thanks man! im glad you enjoyed it!

22:08 I died of laughter on that one 😂😂
I apologize for that LOL
@@Oakoms It was soooooooo good. It fit so well with whatever was going on. Especially if you don't know the plot of the game 😂😂😂
@@anotherraingr im dying right now, someone made a clip of it 20 mins ago
@@Oakoms LMAO. Perfect timing xD
Great voice! Sometimes the music gets a little loud when you're talking but that's a nitpick. Keep it up!
Thank you so much!! I promise the next video will be better audio wise!

Seeing as alot of 13 year olds play GTA id say you we're the appropriate age. I finished Knights of the Old Republic at 12.
Lol yah it seems i was kinda sheltered to a degree by my Mom, which is kinda hilarious considering the movies/shows we grew up watching.

@@adrianaslund8605 ahh your so lucky, my coming of age game was thief deadly shadows, pretty much right after playing this one
you have an excellent voice
You need to work on your sound mix buddy. The music is louder than your voice.
That's fair, I'm going to do more audio work next time!
