POV How To Install Ambient Lights | BMW 2 Series F22 Ambient Lighting Install | RGB LED Car Interior

Working on the F22 2 series looks very similar to doing it to the F20 1 series, but there are some differences, and plus I wanted to show everyone in a little more detail how the installs look with a more "POV" look

thanks for going more in depth on the wiring! really helped me out. Also, in the 4 series considering there is already ambient lighting in the rear I can just tap into the power there right?

9:26 Can you explain a little bit more what that connection is, so make the lighting only come on with the headlights? Little confused how the headlights coming on are found in the centre.

Why not do the wiring from doors to dashboard in the right way? This can be dangerous and can potentialy give errors

Please don't put trim pieces on the dashboard or seats. You work on other people's vehicles and charge them for that so don't do that. Have a storage container to keep them in for the time you have it out its easy enough to take it around the car to each door.

You connected the wires to the window switch llumination instead of the window switch power, so only gets power when lights are on

Why do you not use just the one module for the fibre lights ? I have a kit that just has one ? Should I extend the power cables and chose a central location

it depends as when you do that you need to either have the wire running out from the interior to the doors or run it through the wiring etc. This way you can do it with modules in each location without needing to run the wires like that.
