      Nice! i drive a 2005 9-5 Aero sedan stage 3 Ethanol "Maptun performance" with a performance intercooler, (315 Hp 450 nm). In the winter instead i drive my 2004 9-5 AERO wagon manual stage 1 "Nordic performance" with a performance intercooler ( 270 hp 400 nm). Great cars and with snowtires on them really good for winte. I live in sweden.
      They are cheap performance cars here.
      If you decide to upgrade engine (stage 1 and forward) i recommend switching the stock intercooler for a performance one, since the stock one is not sufficant!
      BTW the car shown in the video only got 120000 km, nice!

    Just love my 2004 Aero Wagon. 205000 miles and going strong !
    Yes, she does drink fuel in town 14L/100km, on a long run she’ll do 10. But as I’ve had her remapped by Maptun to run on E85, she’s cheap to run in France because E85 is half the price of regular unleaded here in France. ‘Nuff said 😂

      I have a 2003 Aero wagon, love it to bits, I get just under 8L/100kms on a cruise on the highway (I'm in New Zealand) The quick trips down the 3 kms to the supermarket and back kick it up to 18 or 19L/100kms, lol.

    My mom has owned several 9-5s and 9-3s. They were quite unreliable (Probably with how she drives), but the one thing that she had to say that she loved with them was how comfortable the seats were.
    My dad has owned several 9-3s, and a few 9000s and the one that he currently owns is an NG 900 Cabriolet that he has owned for 13 years. I personally LOVE them and love the 900. There's a chance when I get my driver's license that I get the 900 because he sort of wants a new car but doesn't want to just sell the old one to another person (The last time he did that, the 9-3 got junked and he still loves it). The school where I study in becoming a car mechanic as well owns a 2003 9-5 that's quite base. It just drives and we work on it when it's needed (Not often)

      I've also had my ng900 for 13 years. 215.000k -> 340k. Full performance suspension, bigger turbo, intercooler, short shifter, clutch upgrade, etc. She's been super reliable. Got me stranded once when the fuel pump died (upgrade time. One of the upgrade times 😁). Bought it for $1100 and learned to work on cars from it. Also learned to drive a manual. I raced an autocross race in it. I built a sleeping platform and camped at a ski resort in it.

    Maybe a small correction: even though the post-2005 facelift 9-5 might look to be more GM, the head unit and the optional navigation are still Saab exclusive and the same as what could be found in late pre-facelift models. The gauge cluster is an updated look but also typical saab with the large speedometer and a switch to green backlight instead of the orange. Greetings from a 2007 9-5 owner :)

    Great cars. I had my dad’s 1999 2.0t saloon until last summer when it was replaced with a 2004 Aero wagon. One strange thing (to me) is that in the saloon there’s a « ski trap » behind the rear armrest which means you can carry long loads (like skis) without folding the rear seat. I can’t really understand why the wagon doesn’t have this, at least my 2004 doesn’t. Does yours?

    • @ClutchKickOfficial
      @ClutchKickOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Huh... that's an interesting oversight. I also did not have a ski pass through. I guess the idea is you would fold down the single seat to accomplish the same thing but still fit two people in the rear?
