It is implied that he was around before the disaster that created the setting, he is one of the first duplicants, and met with the humans who originally created duplicants and the printing pod and the player.
@@forgedabauditt9955 ye we need to build a literal industrial complex to help our dupe survive , but bro lived in that container for who knows how long
It has been a while, but my go-to method of raising decor around the container was to enclose it in a room, and gather a few dupes in snazzy suits in it.
@@FratoiuAlex That is possible, I just made the tiles by dripping liquid glass on which buried the glass. But if you use a conveyor rail through hot tiles, you can make them without buried objects.
When I start my colonies I only have Hermit Story Trait on cause he is a useful dupe but he can get negative traits. I had a Jorge's that had bottomless stomach, snorer, flatulent, mouth breather, the list goes on so he can have negative traits, but he is a good dupe overall. IMO the Hermit is the easiest story trait to complete/do. Easiest food to get him imo is stuffed berry, surf and turf and pepper bread.
I agree with the foods and this being really easy. Bristle berry is easy. Pinch pepper nut is a lot easier than some might think, one auto sweeper and 6 plants and you’ll have plenty of nuts for top tier food and some extra for espresso. Sleet wheat is the hardest thing on this food list. I currently have a run where I didn’t have any tundra biomes so I need to hunt in space for it. Surf n turf is probably the easiest of all the high tier foods to get. The natural gas for the gas range is the hardest part there.
To help with getting the food, you can get spicy tofu from the printer pod then surf n turf isnt too hard to make if you get some pacu from the pod. Then if you try and preserve some wild plants, its not hard to make pepper bread, mushroom wrap and stuffed berry, it helps that they only need 2 ingredients, rather than 3 like some of the other top tier foods. This might save you from having to set up a specific farm and wait for them to grow, just for Jorge, hopefully unlock him earlier.
Not true that he comes with no negative traits, i had a flatulent one on the first try. Luckily you can save scum on the last task and get a different result but a negative trait is pretty much obligatory.
Thanks for this comment. I am a returning player and just played this content for the first time yesterday. I thought all of his traits were pre-programmed, including the flatulent.
Seeing the amazing beach at the end, I would love for Keen to add a "legal" (no exploit or glitches) to create natural tiles. Maybe not abyssalite or other strong tiles, but I don't like the look of sand "with a buried object inside".
My first Jorge had flatulent and at the time, I'd never dealt with that issue before. Pretty bad first impression because by the time I noticed, my base was infested with nat gas and my vertical liquid locks weren't vacuum sealed anymore.

jorge continues to be my fav dupe. he’s just some guy

I used carpets to increase the decor, they give so much of it
I used background tiles and a couple masterpiece arts. I believe it was a metal statue and a large portrait.
Carpets are underrated
Feeding him the three types of food is hilariously difficult on the Ceres asteroid. You need so much stuff from other nearby planets lol
I gave up. I'm a terrible cook.
Hah, I noticed you literally made them a sandy beach for their chairs to sit on. Hahahaha.
That's pretty nice
Yes that was part of my Luxury Hotel run, for which the summary video and full VODs are available.

George is such a cool dude.
i accidentally finished the decor quest cause my dupes were wearing decor suits lol

There is a mod if you want to do that. But it's also possible to make sand without the buried glass I just didn't do it the best way.

Never knew he is so powerful
could you do a tutorial bite on the grumpy tree?
I covered Experiment 52B in the Space Materials Tutorial Bite here: th-cam.com/video/dBrpPd8rbJw/w-d-xo.html
How many well-dressed dupes would have to stand outside his door to supply the decor?
Well each snazzy suit should be +30, so that should be 5. If you use the clothing refashinator then 4.
You forgot to mention his age (just a little interesting detail).
What is it?
@@DudemcmanStudios can't remember, but he is very very old
I didn't actually know that, so interesting to find out!
Dammit! Who ate the frost burger??
i wonder how long have this dude been on the planetoid
Judging by the beard, probably too long...
Thats easy to find out. Check his bio - its says how old he is.
Hello George!
Mi nombre es Jorge, I fixed the spackle.
LMAO I just searched for this vid a couple days ago

Me too 💀
Ha ha. Klei strikes again. Seems pretty realistic
Really? Now I need to start -another- map. No, it's me, not you.

what does the toolbox do?
Just decoartion.
it's pronounce "hor-hee" it's a latin name, otherwise it would be George with a G ^-^
I think both are possible ways to spell George in English nowadays to be honest.
