Pretty cool that Hotwheels got F1 back! I remember back in the early 2000’s they use to have some of the teams in 1/64.
Really excited about the Lego partnership as well! It’s a good time to be a fan.

Those were OK but looked somewhat off from the real shapes. These, whilst not a the Sparky level, look more promising. Price will be key.

To be honest already bburago is already making 1:43 size f1 cars it would be cool to have 1:64 scale ones now.

Nothing to do with slot cars. Mattel did have access to Tyco at one point, but the purchased it for the RC stuff and hated the aftercare on the fiddly little HO slot cars. As for these diecasts, early days but they don't look as detailed as the Sparky models in the same scale right now.

There has been some hotwheels slot car stuff since Tyco but I wouldn't say they were very special
And I agree this has nothing to do with slot cars, this video is directed at the diecast car world

The Hot Wheels slot car stuff like the Mattel stuff just before it was just rebranded Tyco.

Has anyone seen the 1/64 Mini GT F1 diecast cars? Simply amazing. Hot wheels can't even get proper licensing. Their details will certainly be very bland and washed out. With companies like Mini GT, Pop Race, Inno64 and others, I'm not sure why anyone spends money on Hot wheels.

I'm currently collecting some of these brands for a comparison

I’m in the same boat, that said (at least in America) Hot Wheels tugs at the heart strings, which is why people like myself love them, and you’re 100% correct, WAY better offerings out there, but you throw daddy an F1 branded hot wheels with interchangeable Pirelli tires and I bite like when an ex calls me back after years and I’m horny. That said Kaido details (in my humble opinion) are top notch, and while they partnered with mini gt kaido still gives us more detail. Stay gangster

@@Yourmission9 I totally agree with that. I have many Kaido House mini gt's. OMG I am in love with them! I even scored a Chase! Nissan GTR! Got lucky!
Mini GT formula one cars are sooooo detailed. The hot wheels ones look so bland. I just can't buy a hot wheels after owning the other premium brands.
