Looks like you're settling in nicely.☺ I love books about black love. It's refreshing and we can definitely relate. I hope you enjoy all those new books whenever you get to them.😊
Hey girl! 🤗 no, I wasn’t kidding about adding books to my list from watching your videos 😂😂 I am really looking forward to The Last Letter and NOW The Nightingale for the next time I want a book that might make me cry lol
First, love the shirt! 💚🖤 second, I read My Sister The Serial Killer and I liked it. I wouldn’t say there much comedy. At time the older sister is super annoying. I don’t like characters that allow people to take advantage of them, especially so blatantly. BUT it was a good read that I would recommend. Also not that thrilling. It’s like a 2 out of 5 on the thrills. Not too scary or gory. Hood Feminism is on my TBR! I hope you read it soon.
I knew ya would! Lol okay great, it sounds like just the kind of thriller I’m looking for for “spooky season” if it’s more on the cozy side of the genre. Is it really?! It’s been on my want to read for a while so I’m glad I found it to pick up. I’m sure I will get into it sooner rather than later.
I've only read My Sister The Serial Killer, and really liked it. I would say it is definitely not a comedy, it has some dark themes. I hope you like it when you get to it.
For some reason that fact seems to intrigue me more 🤔 I guess I’m really feeling spooky season. And thank you for clarifying. I guess I confused that fact with another book.
I’m interested in fantasy and sci fi as well. I just don’t read a high volume of them because they can be quite dense for me. I have read some gems though!

I’m getting there, girl! And you get me. It is something extra special to read about healthy, positive, black relationships 🥰 super swoony.
Catching up on all my peeps today❤ Thanks for the shout out and YES… The Last Letter definitely took me there😭😭
Great haul girl🩷🫶🏾

I have seen Mirror Girls but I don't see it much online. Glad that the book was shared in this video (even if I haven't read it but I would love to).
I hadn’t heard anything on it online either. I think I found it in my suggestions on kindle or Goodreads. It’s gonna be a good fall read I think.

Hi as a black woman I'm interested usually fantasy and Sci fi books but I do like the books you picked out for herself

I had it feeling it would be. I’m looking forward to getting into it soon
The internet loves to hype up the most med things. I never trust the hype.
Ya know, it’s best to take it with a grain of salt. I’ll do more research in the future or just trust my gut.
