I agree. Shirley has grown tremendously as a singer and Musician. It's like she has so much confidence she has found some inner force. I started noticing it more and more around the Bleed Like Me era or even in Beautifulgarbage on songs like Silence Is Golden. She is one of the singers who I think holds back in the studio and really lets it loose live

This was amazing! The way they did "The Trick is to keep breathing" was so lovely, a little different but still true to the original way it was done but I most loved hearing "The Men Who Rule the World" live. That was one of the songs I was most anticipating to hear performed live because I was wondering how they would compose it and I gotta say, it was beautifully done! Shirley really brought it home towards the middle and end of the song
I was super surprised when Trick came on, I wasn't expecting it at all. Halfway through I started crying. I love Garbage because of how they make me feel.

I love how Garbage is a band that stay true and always evolves over time. They are different, but always find a way to move you. Shirley is the queen of the slow moody jams like You look so fine, Drive you home, beloved freak, etc…Awesome band live, and they have got me through some crazy and tough times in my life, as I’m sure they have many of you. I hope they know how appreciated they are. The new album is great, and they have always been a tight band live. Cheers! 🍻

I listened to The Trick Is to Keep breathing as a teenager. That song is so much more emotional to me after living up to a life in my 40s now.

There's something essential about this. Wherever you turn, they're right there. You're surrounded, and you realize you're lost, but you enjoy every moment. Her mature female voice, absolutely wonderful, a voice that hides a rage is so theatrically trusting.

Garbage = brilliant. I listen to them all the time and let the vibrations get me right in the brain. somehow over the years everything that is greatest in music has coalesced into Garbage.

This somehow hit me on the malancholy side. Garbage keeping reinventing themselves while at the same time re-issueing the song, that hit me in the balls about 10 years ago (The Trick ..) and fixed me a loyal fan. Still one of their best, and so they know, I am sure.

Brilliant! Such a great performance. Their new album is one of their best in years, imo. I love every track on it! I went to see Garbage in 2019 in Cardiff and they were fantastic. Watching this takes me right back to that gig.

this is just woow!!! GARBAGE is back and in great shape!! They have songs for today! Shirley's voice is as great as it was back then! Will be looking for tickets for your gig. Special kudos to production crew. This work is of the highest standard I have seen for a long time on TH-cam. The audio, the lights, the video, the outfits. Thought out all the way through. Even 4:3 is used on. purpose in order to look 90s and yellow colour so important here it is used in stage lighting, in outfits as well as lower thirds. Kudos, kudos, kudos. You guys rock and I'm sure good things are coming your way!

The songs call out the injustices of Capitalism, Sexism, Racism, and misogyny. Manson, in particular, has for decades been a stalwart spokesperson against any discrimination and unfair treatment. Garbage 2.0, 1998, should have won the Best Album Grammy AT LEAST!! “No Gods, No Masters” is WORTH ALL THE GRAMMY AWARDS / ACCOLADES THEY HAVE BEEN DENIED IN THE PAST!! If the Grammy panel cannot see it - they TOO are COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH A WORLD THAT IS BEGGING FOR CHANGE!!

just so ya know i heard reyna's interview with her on the world cafe a couple of weeks ago. that got me here. it was an excellent interview with a really smart person. love the world cafe. opens my eyes to the current music scene specifically new rock and roll. i grew up in the 70's. love the show when i can listen. i listen to kppr public radio in williston,north dakota.
That was amazing, like having them performing in my living room! And damn, that version of Trick really was surreal - the songs were all great but that really shone above the rest.

Garbage has been such a force in Alternative for ages. When you know the stories and how the members have been such an influence to music from then today - you get it. Or you don't. F yeah seeing this band still cranking hard like a muscle car starting up. Raw. Refined. Melodic. and still done by hand.
