Michaela Hoffman Exactly my thoughts. 😄👏🏻
Just wanted to understand with what should I start and can I hire Mr.Noah Bradley as a remote consultant. I'm a carpenter myself.
Greetings from northern Europe, Latvia. 😉

found this at great timing, my dad was just telling me that a log cabin would require a ton of maintenance,
still working towards the land at the moment but that might be happening in the next month or so. fingers crossed but cant wait to get things rolling

Fabulous channel, Noah. You are a gifted man. Someday there won’t be many of you left who posses this knowledge and skill. If any. I am thankful you are passing on this timeless art. Some of these “kit” cabins are so commercial looking and steal away the spiritual element of the traditional cabin. Almost like glossy plastic doll houses that represent lazy superficial mondernity. I for one will be looking into your academy! Thank you, again.

Thanks, Noah. That's a nice stone column back there. Is it fitted to hang a gate?

“Great, Bearded One”. 😆.... can you help me build a Limestone Cabin or small house?
    Thank you.
That’s all I’ve ever wanted. Living in Western Kansas I’ve seen a lot of limestone homes and buildings. 🙏🤗

Rebecca Lauren limestone is all we have here in Florida too. I do not like most of what I see. It seems that limestone here is only mortared together and never dry stone. It is nice when has fossils embedded in the stone tho.

Any opinions on the way log cabin are made in Sweden and other Scandinavian countries? I know there are cabins there that are a couple hundred years old.

Hi Noah, love seeing you doing what you love! Oh, and is that cabin for weekly rental?

What's the advantage of having such enormous chinking rows? I always thought the quintessential old-fashioned log cabin was made of round logs tightly stacked, with minimal chinking. Why don't you build like that?

Hi Noah. I've recently looked at a gorgeous log cabin in a spectacular landscape (forest) in Poland. Unfortunately the cabin (built 1985) has been left standing empty for a few years and the insects have started to eat it. Holes in lots of the logs outside especially at low level and fresh sawdust below the holes. Is the only option for this cabin to pull it down or can it be saved. Such a shame that such a beautiful home should be at the end of it's life already.

The log houses that are the color of baby diarrhea are the worst. Shiny baby diarrhea, nonetheless.

I haven't done a thing to my log house in 24 years of ownership.
