Please make this game a permanent part of your channel! Not because it’s popular but just because it’s that good! I love this just as much as phasmophobia.
One thing the game definitely would need is more challenge modes. Like how Phasma has no evidence or no equipment, that adds to the huge replay value of the game for more experienced players.
@@ethanclark7661 Honestly I think they need to make Solo a bit more forgiving, carrying only 4 items is pretty difficult when you have to go back and forth to pick up items. If you want a game to last it needs to be able to stand on its own even when theres no one else to play with
@@aaronadamson7463 I was thinking maybe something like Deep Rock Galactic where you have a mini robot helping you. He would bring the items back to the ship, you would have to command him to do so ofc and if there were enemies around he would still get attacked by them
I really appreciate the way you explain your thinking/logic. I'm a relatively new player often forced to play solo (because I'm in my 40's and I don't really want to play with the teenagers who seem to dominate the public lobbies), and this advice really helped me to be more strategic & get to higher quotas.
Yay fellow long-experience player 😄 Yeh Insym talks through some really great stats, really useful knowledge. I'm 53, been a gamer since the 80s, I've done a LOT of solo gameplay over the years and even more now that I play a lot of MMOs. Overwhelmed by sheer numbers of screaming teenagers with no strats lol, nightmare pugs, don't even go there unless you want to go insane 🙄 Better to solo unless you've got a good team 👍 This is a really well-balanced game for solo (but scary lol)
This game is beyond terrifying solo. A thumper almost gave me a heart attack last night. I legit had to quit playing for a little bit to gain courage 😂
I had that with the bracken, i was searching around and was at a dead end, turned around and then saw him right behind me and it scared the shit out me so i quit hahah
It feels smart to just bring items back when you have a full inventory. Like 5+ items or like before 1pm and recharge your flashlight and stuff because you have to travel back and forth anyways just avoiding danger and carry heavy items befor the monster spawns
As someone that has been playing a lot, it is almost 100% better to go inside imo, but it depends a lot on how well you handle different monsters. Inside you have more stuff you can't really deal with, namely the coil-head and the jester. Everything else has some sort of counters be it killing them, looking at it with the Braken, etc. Outside is generally easier to deal with enemies, but with bad luck it can be much worse. Not sure if all this applies in single player but worms have no counter play if they just want to pop up quickly, singular baboon hawks are okay but anything more and they're imo the worst when you're alone, giants and dogs are mostly bad because they seem to often roam towards the ship which tends to be the least covered and it's where you're making noise to drop items. Really the only factors to consider imo is if you have 1 heavy/large item and the rest small, and if you have loot to still look for near exits. It's easier to find your way back to where you might've found more loot before if you JUST left it, then if you went back to the ship to drop loot first. But you should also never go with only small items because you're almost guaranteed to have large items to bring back. Bonus issue that more so matters on how much you pay attention is the time. If you bring loot as soon as you have a full inventory with a heavy/large item, you're less likely to greed for too long that you can't actually get all or most of the loot. My friends and I have lost a LOT of loot a few times from starting to haul stuff late.
I feel like there should be an expensive upgrade that gives you an additional item slot. And maybe there should be a max of +3 slots so that people can keep up with higher and higher quotas
Imo it should be included in a Player Progression system, maybe with a skill tree - the player could level up from successful contracts and put points into perks like increased sprint speed/duration, increased carry weight, an extra inventory slot, things like that. Might give some more incentive to level up for replayability.
Exactly. Currently quotas over 3k seem virtually impossible as you'd need all 3 perfect days. And it's not a matter of monsters - there's just not enough time to grab enough loot.
I like the idea of adding new items, but I feel like strong items should also have drawbacks, like the stun grenade and the zap gun. Both are good, but they can also harm teammates. Or you can buy upgraded versions of the said items, but they are highly expensive.
@@Dafreshcutcould make a “duffel bag” that works kind of as a mini storage cupboard. Curious to how a slotted inventory would work as far as glitches go. The bag should take a slot itself as well just to still limit the total amount of tools you can quickly switch to. Give it a somewhat heavy starting weight, like 30-40lbs, but also give it a bonus of reducing the weight of stored items by like 40%. Don’t think it should be able to carry two handed objects though, maybe at most one. In terms of balancing instead of a weight limit or item limit it has a space limit: The size of the scrap itself it what determine how much can be carried. Another thing for balance perhaps the more space taken up would increase the volume of the players footsteps. I think a “dump items/shake bag” button would be nice as well. Should have a fairly steep price, or it could just be a rare scrap itself as it would exponentially stronger the more players using it.
Bracken is my favorite enemy. I never die to him unless I get sandwiched by other enemies, because I'm always the most paranoid employee as I'm constantly looking back to see if he's there 😜
It’s so terrifying to be walking around and suddenly hear your teammates neck snap behind you and you turn around to see them get dragged off by some sort of shadow creature
i have a problems with sleep and when im all alone in a dark room i sometimes play lethal company and i play this video at the background if like im playing with him, feels great and less scary than playing lethal company alone.
I booted lethal company alone yesterday and was idling in the ship for a bit. Never noticed the horrible door creaking noise watching people play, but alone it put me on edge so bad before I even started a day
Absolutely LOVING these long lethal videos. This game is taking over my entire gaming life and watching these videos before bed to fall asleep to are the absolutely best. Keep it up ❤❤❤
A good strategy for eclipsed titan is that it you purchase an item, the supply drop will distract all of the eyeless dogs for a full minute, meaning you can freely run to and from the ship.
If you're looking for mods to try, I'd recommend LethalThings that I often see Thorlar using. It adds new scrap items and two new trap types to the map. I'm sure your chat will like Maxwell in particular (a particularly cool scrap, not a hazard, unless you consider chat complaining if you sell him a hazard).
I did some solo modded runs the other day. My worst nightmare were the mimics. The instakill once they get ahold of you is so BS. They don't flinch a lot when hit by the shovel either.
I'm surprised there isn't something as simple as a suit upgrade that has one or two inventory slots that you can buy a rock to throw and distract the doggos. That would be a cool addition seeing as how there's a heavy emphasis on making the player feel helpless like having basically only a shovel or a shotty taken from a nutcracker. That's at least something to spend profit on lol
With the Bracken on multiplayer if someone looks at him he will stop pursuit, unless he's close enough to his target already, and if you keep looking for a sec or two and he'll start backing up. When he starts backing up is when you stop looking at him, if you keep looking at him while hes backing up he'll start grumbling and then just run up and kill you. Once he starts backing up hes going to try to lose line of sight and flank you. Just keep your head on a swivel and don't stare for too long and he's not too hard to deal with.
If there were a backpack that took up no slot like a jetpack (and as such couldn't be used with a jetpack) to add one slot, even if it was like >$1000, it seems like a pretty balanced item. There are a lot of ways to die that consume the item, or if someone dies and just can't have their stuff brought back. By being something you buy and can lose, it seems like a good late game option
2:52:00 (Insym had just left the building after seeing a coil head) You sir are brave. There would be a 0 percent chance I would be going back in there after seeing that thing.
1:01:32 Thank God this was explained for TH-cam properly because I have seen people in the comments telling me "oh no, that is stupid, the Loot Bugs will steal your stuff". Like... Insym does this? You just drop stuff at the door where you came in so you can navigate back and don't need Spray Paint to trail the exit/entrance. Loot Bugs are just not as common as you think they are. Maybe if the only Lethal Company videos you have seen were with Brutal Company where a 300 Loot Bug horde will spawn. But besides that it's like 0-2, and you know when they are in the building.
Just a recommendation for a mod called "Late Game Upgrades" but it might be all one word? Not 100% sure. It's as the name says, late game upgrades. They're generally much more expensive, but give some pretty good and fun upgrades to go for. Some examples off the top of my head is a higher max stamina and faster movement speed, items weighing less, one lets you run into locked doors to trigger a "minigame" to unlock it apparently, reduced damage from bees, etc. When me and some friends play with it a bit I learned the hard way you have to type I believe it's "info " to see the description, typing the item name instantly buys it if you can afford it. The prices like I said are generally pretty expensive, but I've been considering trying some solo games and using the mod config to lower prices to try them. The only ones we got to was more max stamina which was really nice, and "back muscles" which is the item weight reduction, it lowered a cash register to like 68lb from the normal like 100ish.
i think it would be really cool if they added like a snake monster, where you can find its shed skin all over the place the shed skin could be worth a lot but each time you pick up the shed, it increases the chances of the snake spawning in and coming for you
its insane that loot bugs have just as much hit points as thumpers .... loot bugs should be 1 - 2 hits maximum to kill, especially since there can be more than 1 around
Has to be said I am loving these videos! Tried almost all the mods you use. Really should start messing with those configs man! I’ve created some hilarious combos!

Is it possible to buy and use 2 extension ladders to make a super extension ladder? Would maybe be possible to drop loot on the back of ship when at Titan
Keys are for locked doors inside the building. Not the numbered, secure doors. Just regular locked doors. You can save them and use them in different planets. A key doesn’t correspond to a specific door, thankfully. You can’t sell them, even though they’re worth 3 credits. If you sell them, you won’t get anything and lose the key.
Btw why items like keys, flash and ammo uses full inventory slot instead like half or 1/4 of it idk why they just cant use key ring or their pockets to store ammo this game is realistic but in such cases its absolutely not
The bracken tries to sneak up on the player, but if the player turns around in time and looks at it, then it will run away. If the player corners or stares at it for too long, it will become aggresive and kill the player

I killed a loot bug on experimentation I got a gold fucking bar on my first quota
When do you use Keys?
On a specific moon or phase in the game?
Keys are for locked doors inside the building. Not the numbered, secure doors. Just regular locked doors. You can save them and use them in different planets. A key doesn’t correspond to a specific door, thankfully. You can’t sell them, even though they’re worth 3 credits. If you sell them, you won’t get anything and lose the key.
Hotdogs
Btw why items like keys, flash and ammo uses full inventory slot instead like half or 1/4 of it idk why they just cant use key ring or their pockets to store ammo
this game is realistic but in such cases its absolutely not
Kinda unrelated comment, but how do you get the extra inventory slot? I have the mod installed but it changed nothing about the inventory.
Go into the config for it
To this day I dont know how to set up the coin flip thing when you die, it just sucks, does anyone know?

anyone know what the extra inventory slot mod is called?
What does the bracken do?
The bracken tries to sneak up on the player, but if the player turns around in time and looks at it, then it will run away. If the player corners or stares at it for too long, it will become aggresive and kill the player
