This is crazy because i had to stop dealing with my daddy because he was so toxic and everytime he did something that hurted me and i spoke about it, he would call me selfish and tell me to be a “good daughter” and he always brought up the fact that he’s my dad to make me feel like i have to deal with him. And aince i turned 18 he really shitted on me, and since i didnt do whatever he said to do, he stopped helping me pay for college and now i have to drop out because i dont have money and my mom doesnt have money. I’ve never been in a relationship (never been in love and I’m soon to be 29 years old) but I’ve had a lot of toxic friendships. The most recent toxic friendship was with a guy who was extremely insecure and anytime he would go through a rough patch, he would treat everyone like garbage. He had something happen to his mother and I had just lost my dad and he acted like his mother’s suicide attempt was worse than my father’s death. This hit home. I was in an abusive relationship for almost 2 years. Destroyed my self worth. Eventually turned physically violent. They even hurt my dog, who was a puppy at the time... im disabled and they financially destroyed me also. Im barely recovering financially 4 years later. I was a convenience to them. Now my dog is beyond protective of me. But praise God months after that I met someone who showed me what it's like to be loved. Who was patient with me and my dogs trauma and loved us. ❤ Get out before it's too late. It's not impossible. I promise it gets better.
