I love your approach of doing several sketches with increasing detail. I tend to think too much in traditional painting/drawing where you don't really get that versatility.
yeah in traditional comics as well we tend to use colored pencils for the rough sketches eventually going into normal pencils and inks haha so I guess I kind of brought that mentality into digital.
Procreate records every stroke as a frame, with 15:48 mins at 25fps that's is 23700 strokes total! I don't know why but I feel like it should be more then that... Amazing art, I hope to get to this level one day.
lmao. theres also i believe some cuts in the vid? so it could have been longer but it was so long ago that i forgot. And you will become great, just keep drawing everyday ya :)!
I love this style. It reminds me of the (European) comics I read as a kid, like Tintin and January Jones. Wonderful! There is just one thing that didn't make sense to me and that's the stone pavements. If they were flat stones, they wouldn't overlap like they do. But hey, that's just nitpicking. Love it!
@@irlanderillustrations7517 Nah, a slight re-paving job would do the trick. Everything else is quite cool, but I can imagine you're looking at from a different angle. Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna check out your new stuff!
I know this video is older, but I just wanna say I'm going through your videos of lovely scenery so I can study your technique and skill so I can improve my own scenery skills! You've definitely inspired me to practice so I can make my drawings even better
Thank you so much you have no idea how lovely that is and how happy it makes me to know i can provide value to you and inspire you :)! keep up the awesome work and practice hard
Wow the amount of patience, hard work you would have put this is amazing😍 was looking for such video for long time with detailed line art and amazing coloring could anyone recommend more of such artist and videos
This is amazing. I need to learn how to do lighting the way you do it. I currently pick existing colors and change the values/saturation slightly for shadows and highlights, but I want to learn to do it this way. How do you get Procreate to record a 15 min. video at higher quality? Mine does 30 seconds or 5 mins and makes a low quality, ugly video. Love your art style and lighting. Thanks!
Awesome work. In your videos you always surprise me with yet another layer of line work. In this one I thought you were doing the final black lines but then you went ahead and redrew the whole thing again! I’m just learning, why do you decide to do a complete redraw and not just edit what really nice work you already did? Also what brush do you use for the final line? And do you make sure there are no gaps so you can paint bucket?
sometimes i am just unhappy with how the linework turns out haha so i redo the whole thing. its just me being a perfectionist unfortunately. final line i use the technical pen brush. and yup i try to make sure theres no gaps. although sometimes i do have to paint manually when i do find gaps :)
Love this work and the style inspired me to create my own which took many hours. One question the texture you use for the wood effect, is that a brush? I am assuming you don't draw all the grains by hand?
This is really remarkably impressive. I’m wondering when you did that red and blue value layer, what layer settings did you use to get it to apply the warmth/cool so well?
I used procreate, Technical pen brush with slight modification any sketch brush of ure choosing Round painting brush for blocking in colors and shadows and all that Then just some texture brushes with the opacity reduced :)
to refine the sketch. very rough blue sketch. then a bit more refined red and green sketch to really see where everything is going to go, etc etc. just my process of kind of dividing the elements of a drawing and not going over the previous sketch with the same color. :D
@@zekeyeager4181 i guess i would count someof my previous drawings drawings as a reference but its mostly just my made up medieval homes. i love medieval architecture so i have like a mental library of the way buildings should look etc. if it was something ive never drawn before then yeah id have tons and tons of reference
sometimes I watch these and think, "I can do that!" and then I get on procreate and fail miserably. I respect you, man. You're really talented!
well thank you so much! keep working on your craft and youll get there :)
I can't relate more SAMEEEEEEEEE
The depths and level of detail speaks for itself, can't praise enough your hard work! 🖤

I love your videos, but some chiller music may be nice. I get overwhelmed because it's so epic. I'd love to keep it on in the background while I draw
outstanding work, love this so much! keep drawing!
will do

Wow this is an awesome drawing timelapse right here I love it.😃👍❤️
Just.... beautiful.
thank you jorji:)
i wish we could see the layer options too, hardest part for me is the color dodge/overlay/multiply options like which to use and where to use.
gotcha maybe ill do a tutorial on how i do my lighting if enough people wanna see :)
Is this in one point perspective??? This is amazing
a slight 2 point perspective lol. THANK YOU :)

Just another great video!

ah on that one i believe i used either an "add" or "overlay" :)
You're amazing!
Hey thank you so much :)!
the detail is truly amazing, you are so talented!! i’d love to know what canvas size and dpi you used!!!
hi, thank you so much! I actually used a 1920 x 1080p canvas at 400 DPI :).
@@irlanderillustrations7517 thank you !!
Amazing!!!
:D ty
Is really amazing 😊💗✨
thank you so much!
Broo what blending mode u use for colour
well it depends on the layer :) shadows i use multiply. lighting i usually use screen / overlay. for highlights i use overlay at 60% opacity.
may i ask what software you used and what brushes you used?
I used procreate,
Technical pen brush with slight modification
any sketch brush of ure choosing
Round painting brush for blocking in colors and shadows and all that
Then just some texture brushes with the opacity reduced :)
Do you use the perspective tool when you make architecture? Whenever I use it, the lines never seem to want to line up that way that I want.
Yes i do. :D
How do you do such detailed work? Do you zoom in?
yes i do zoom in :)
Wow! Awesome art! What brush did you use for inking?
hello i just used the technical pen, and studio pen tools.
When you got to painting, did you just paint bucket the buildings? Or did you select each one?
sometimes paint bucket them sometimes i had to go in there and use brush strokes for very fine small areas
Onde posso encontrar musicas como essas?
hola! check on youtube for fantasy music that is copyright free :)
Love it! What canvas resolution do you use? Can never seem to get enough detail.
i use 400 DPI :)
what kind of time do you reckon you put Into a project like this? this looks rather formidable
haha i forgot but it was quite a long time. maybe about 4 days worth of working on it
What are you using the different colors for on the early/thumbnailing stage?
to refine the sketch. very rough blue sketch. then a bit more refined red and green sketch to really see where everything is going to go, etc etc. just my process of kind of dividing the elements of a drawing and not going over the previous sketch with the same color. :D
@@irlanderillustrations7517 Thank you! do red and green have any meaning, or you just don’t want those elements to blend together?
meh not any meaning in particular. they just contrast pretty well so i chose them :)@@tuanis1
How many layers is this?
way too many lol xD. like 25?
which reference did u use?
for this one i just drew it off the top of my head :)
@@irlanderillustrations7517but how? its almost impossible for me to draw like this without using refrence

On which device you use to draw
iad pro 12.9
What program are you drawing this on?
Procreate :)
@@irlanderillustrations7517 Thanks!
@@Abdul_Wakeel_Ghuraba of course! hope you enjoyed the video :)!
What brushes do u use
usually i use just the technical pen brush and the rough pen brush. for coloring i use the round brush. airbrushes for gradients. etc :)
10/10
