Sometimes as a business owner one has to redeem themselves to the customer, whether it's a manufacturer issue, or a problem with the install. This truly pays for itself over time :)
We love our 15k, it has been solid. I only wish I had waited a bit to get the reduction in price and the updated busbar design. But I am happy!
I remember the MultiAqua chillers in this install also had Pika X7601s in them. Guessing they fried as I heard the power cores in them run _hot._
I remember this system vary well. Was interesting to see how bad the pikas failed

6:45 I'm a bit confused about how much power is going through that 15k. I checked the manual for mine and it says it's rated for 15kW AC output to Load (continuous ). Yet, this one is currently outputting 23kW (and you mentioned you've seen it go to 30kW). It's also odd that the "dial" for Grid and Load both go to 30kW instead of 15kW. Plus, I'm pretty sure when mine gets to those higher output power draws, the dial turns yellow. It's always worried me when my heat pump goes into defrost mode and starts drawing 16kW. Now, I'm wondering if I've been worrying for nothing.
They have a 200a pass through. So it's using a ton of grid power along with the solar.
@@Zorlig Thanks. I should have thought of that. The specs in the manual are (probably) for what the inverter will do. No what the "ports" will handle. So, in my case, I'd only have to worry about overloading the inverter if there's a grid outage while my heat pump goes into defrost mode. I assume this customer would be in a similar situation if he lost the grid unless he added that second 15k.
EDIT: On second thought, I've got Time of Use turned on and that puts the energy source priority at 1) PV, 2) Battery, 3) Grid, 4) Generator. I'm wondering if the inverter is smart enough to limit the draw from PV and Battery to it's rated inverting limit of 15kW and then draw the rest from the grid. Or, if it will just grab everything it can from PV/Battery regardless of how high the power draw is.
@@nommindymple6241 I think it can do 12k from the battery, 15k with battery +solar, then the rest of would pull off the grid.

IS ANYONE PROVIDING WIND TURBINE POWER GENERATION WORTHY & AT TODAYS STANDARDS TO INTEGRATE WITH THE SOL-ARK 15K?
I do not know of a turbine out there like Pika had.

Do you know of anyone who has a compatible replacement BMS or repairs for the KiloVault HAB 7.5 kWh Battery 🔋 like you sell on your website, because they have gone out of business? I purchased two 2️⃣. They both have only one 1️⃣ cycle. Now one 1️⃣ of them does not power up 🪫.
As the reputable Solar Engineer, what do you recommend we do to get this battery 🪫 working again? Does these KiloVault batteries have fuses on the inside? I guess we cannot void our warranty with a defunct company if we open it up?

The customer had planned to install the inverters in his hydronic chillers. 1 inverter per chiller
