- The Scourge. Death Knights. The Lich King. These are among the most frightening, tragic elements of Azeroth’s past. The awful beings residing in Icecrown Citadel are dark, brooding, and terrifyingly powerful…they’re obviously ice cold, but also really, really cool! In Hearthstone’s next expansion, Knights of the Frozen Throne, we’ll find out what happens when the heroes fall from the light, and what will they do with the immense, terrible powers they’ll have when the Lich King raises them as Death Knights.
Knights of the Frozen Throne will be released August 2017.

I don't care if people hated hero cards, this was the best expansion that could ever bring a control meta and I loved it so much. Why can't we have something like this again? I miss everything about knight of the frozen throne era :'(

Well I was thinking more of an action that causes negative emotional distress. Kicking someone is more like Garrosh hellscream. Arthas would be like becoming your friend and backstabbing you, in my opinion.

Never forget how this expansion changed the meta.
Each of these dark heroes are so powerful that it has gotten necessary to put almost each time one of them in one of your decks if you want to succeed in the ladder.
What I would do for a full cinematic featuring the death of all nine heroes.

I wish Blizzard would introduce some way for players who haven't played for awhile to get back into the game without having to spend a huge amount of money catching up on cards. Something like a "Current Expansion Booster Box" with a few of the most important cards from the current expansion and some packs from each one, or something like that.

Definitely a fantastic trailer, but I honestly believe it would've been better if Uther was the one narrating it, since he's the "holier" of the heroes.
Tell the community that the Lich King is dead... and World of Warcraft, died with him.

This seems very Foreshadow-y to me. Jaina has been gone for a while in WoW, we know Bolvar is going to be stepping back into the light a little quite soon. Her joining him in exchange for power? I can see that. I can see this.

The meta will be ruined by such decks, and many eagerly accept the bargain.
The clever and the fun-loving may recoil at its cost, but they have no Patches

Cool that you can't see Gul'dan's eyes shine when the screen goes dark at the end.. Because he's already corrupted by power.
I think it's because of his hood
I think because he has them closed
Remember, even if it's just because of his hood or because he has his eyes closed, they *chose* to draw him like that for this specific shot. It was a clear design decision, especially if their eyes are the last thing you see.

Gul'dan is present on the left with a Scythe. Anyway just pause it where all the characters are. I am sure you will count 9 heroes. He just has his eyes covered.

This trailer gived to me the sensation that I've felt when I finished Warcraft 3 : The Frozen Throne, I'm so glad that you Blizzard finaly made this expansion! It brings me in mind so many happy memories in mind that I really want to thank Blizzard! You're awesome Blizzard!

When you watch this and the fact that Jaina is talking gives you goose bumps because you know the lore behind Arthas
Would be awesome if they had Jaina Proudmoore reforge the shards of frostmourne and some how brought back Arthas in attempt to deal with the legion they both were key lore characters were the game was at its peak I'm tired of all the good or evil characters just being killed off there needs to be some type of contrast in the game where maybe the bad guys win or something a tad different happens were we have to retreat or whatever

One of my favorite trailers. I was just getting into hearthstone when this came out and I was blown away by it. It’s why I ended up maining mage. I got frost Lich Jaina as my death knight and I felt it was fate to play her.
It's the same for me. I still main mage and I'm gonna take the the fire mage Jaina. God, if only I could play last year or so.
so I stopped this video on 00:09, right before she starts singing, and i put Arthas, my son from spotify at second 39, right before the boy starts singing. If you put both together at the same time it becomes 10 times more epic.
