Well I was thinking more of an action that causes negative emotional distress. Kicking someone is more like Garrosh hellscream. Arthas would be like becoming your friend and backstabbing you, in my opinion.
Remember, even if it's just because of his hood or because he has his eyes closed, they *chose* to draw him like that for this specific shot. It was a clear design decision, especially if their eyes are the last thing you see.

This trailer gived to me the sensation that I've felt when I finished Warcraft 3 : The Frozen Throne, I'm so glad that you Blizzard finaly made this expansion! It brings me in mind so many happy memories in mind that I really want to thank Blizzard! You're awesome Blizzard!
One of my favorite trailers. I was just getting into hearthstone when this came out and I was blown away by it. It’s why I ended up maining mage. I got frost Lich Jaina as my death knight and I felt it was fate to play her.
Never forget how this expansion changed the meta. Each of these dark heroes are so powerful that it has gotten necessary to put almost each time one of them in one of your decks if you want to succeed in the ladder.
Knights of the Frozen Throne, Saviors of Uldum, and Descent of Dragons were the three expansions that I was the most hyped for, and of the three, this was THE expansion I was the most excited about. And it did not disappoint me one bit.
Frost Lich Jaina is still one of my, if not top, favorite cards to this day. its at the helm of my Odd Elemental Big Spell mage. only card that i might like more is Janalai the Dragonhawk (because who doesn't like 7 mana Ragnaros with an extra body and an immunity to summon secrets?). coincidentally, that card is ALSO in the deck. Ragnaros with lifesteal is so good.
Sad to see this expansion will go to the wild format, I personally love this expansion so much. It gave all of the classes a new hero card and it was cool! Back in the day the only class who can do that was Gul'dan and I've always wanted all the class to do the same thing, then when I got back in Hearthstone (It was when Kobolds and Catacombs was released) I noticed all of the heroes have a new hero cards and I was excited! The first one I got was Garrosh. I will never forget this expansion!

Why is everything Lich King related so freaking awesome? The Wrath of the Lich King trailer for WoW one of, if not the most epic, the trailer for the Fall of the Lich King was badass, Arthas's actual boss fight was amazing and we finally got a raid boss that was actually too powerful to be put down by a bunch of randoms, 'Arthas, my son' is in my opinion the best soundtrack from the game ever, and now the trailer for KotFT is just as cool. Maybe it's just me, I dunno

Thanks alot Blizzard and Ben and the Hearthstone team. Icecrown Citadel and The Lich King I loved these things from Warcraft III and WoW: WOTLK. Can't wait to play it in Hearthstone ;)

I would pay sooo much money for the current Jaina to see this one. To fight this one, to know she was one word away from becoming like this (all she had to do was say yes to Arthas when he asked her to come with him to Northrend. That’s it, a no to a yes; and we could have had a lich QUEEN alongside the Lich King), to see it manifested in a alternate version of herself. Goddamn that fight would be lit.
this is dangerously accurate. there was a manga that was released by bliz a little over 10 years ago, where 3 characters got pulled into the Emerald Nightmare (Jaina, Magni, and i think Thrall). well, her iteration of the nightmare had her going to northrend to try to help arthas, knowing that the alternative is allowing him to become the Lich King. and when they get to the chamber, Mal'ganis attacks, and pins down arthas so he can no longer reach the sword, but Jaina cannot attack him without risking hitting Arthas instead. Jaina grabbed Frostmourne to intervene, and in doing so, she became the leader of the scourge. so instead of Arthas being a DK, you have Jaina, who could still pull on all her normal magic, heading the scourge. With the caliber of her power, i am reasonably certain that Azeroth would have fallen to the Lich Queen. the comic in question was a part of the Warcraft Legends manga, Volume 5. "Nightmares"
