This looks and plays amazingly! I love how complex the cards are. Good job on the developers to actually dare to explore the design space and not just being happy with good enough. I'd love to see how the other classes play.

I like this! It plays fast, it's more of a puzzler than most Slay-the-Spire clones, and the basic gameplay (replace your deck of generic attack and defends against pre-indicated enemy attacks) isn't nearly as derivative.
I think one of the most compelling reasons for not doing one damage on puch is being able to skip turns by punching a barrel. Loved the vid, hopefully we'll get a follow up video?
That's a design consideration I've been debating myself, and still am. :D Making your unarmed attack deal 1 damage would certainly help with some soft-locking/trapping scenarios. But there are quite a few downsides to it, which is why I did not go for it. One of the main reasons is that giving players a potentially infinite source of damage right from the start warps the game in weird ways and makes certain strategies much more prominent (there ARE ways to achieve "unlimited" damage in the game, but those require a properly tuned deck). Keeping your damage potential finite creates a scarcity that just makes for a better game overall (I know, lots of grand words here :D)

usually 2, sometimes when releases are slow/weak (like right now) I throw a super short series in a 3rd slot though because I can't find anything else to play.
I like having a weapon with drop so I have no DMG then I grab a hold for more armor and defiance so when I'm attacked I gain armor(bonus from hold) and if I have a trinket to deal 1 DMG to all revealed enemy then every time I'm attacked I deal 3 DMG to all and get +3 armor(bonus if hold is on and have upgraded defiance)
This one looks really cool. I wonder what the win condition looks like... is there a boss, or do you keep going until it gets impossible? We must find out lol
Nope, not a fan of top 10 lists or tier lists on games. I find them crude, and a bit too engagement-baity for my interest. Not to mention people just skip to the end and get upset. I'd not rule out putting out a list of game recommendations in no particular order every once and a while, but I just haven't had the time for that. @@Retromation They only have 1 HP though, so it would only let you skip a single turn rather than an unlimited amount.
