Are You Tired of Me, My Darling

This old-time and early country favorite song has roots that stretch back across time. It was published in 1877 with words by by G. P. Cook and music by Ralph Roland. Numerous artists, including the Carter Family, have recorded it with changes to both melody and text. It has such a sweet sentiment that it also found its way into my standard repertoire. I volunteer as a historic interpreter and this video was recorded on the porch of a Civil War era log cabin.

Yes, it is a Recording King. Not an expensive guitar but this one has a solid top. I played a dreadnought size guitar for years and my right shoulder certainly paid a high price for that!
