Unless you are buying a mining ETF or are a "do it yourself" fool like me, get assistance from pros and/or newsletters to pick individual mining stocks. Really tough sector and easy to lose money.

Referring to the big gold producers? They haven't reported Q2 yet. The run up in gold price started right at the beginning of Q2. So when Q2 is reported (soon), those results will be the first that reflect the run up.
