Why INDIA has so much DUST || भारत में इतनी धुल क्यों है ||

India is Dusty Place where the average dust amount is way higher than the world today we understand why
India has a largely dry climate besides the monsoon months. This means that there is little vegetation outside of the rainy season to hold the soil down. If you have lived here, you will notice dust levels go down dramatically during monsoons. In most areas that means wind will pick up dust and move it around. Also, a lot of roads are unpaved so vehicles kick up a fair bit of dust. In highly urbanized areas, the 'dust' is in large part particulate matter from polluting vehicles running without any catalytic converters and sometimes on adulterated fuel.

In the middle East, the regions receive less rainfall than India but still it's way more clean and clear. Look at all the filth and garbage everywhere in India, the polluted rivers, traffic jams and firecracking during festivals. All that is the reason that the country is dusty and dirty.

I had gone to the us a few years ago, and they had an excellent solution to this problem. Any patch of sand or soil was covered with small scraps of wood. So even if winds do blow, they don't carry a lot of dust. I'm not sure about the winds that blow over the us, but definitely their air quality is so much better, even in their busy cities. We should really do something about this constant problem in our country

Unplanned urbanization is also a big issue as the land which were forest or farms were captiving soils but when you buy a plot in such townships which had turned farmland to housing project this soil gets erosin and when this soil get crushed by vehicle tyres they grind it so much that soil get into dust particles

And 2nd thing is, lot of trees were cut down under name of construction and road development. So these 2 factor cause it a most dustiest city I ever lived, whenever I visit their it feel hell of dust while driving on road.

Then I moved in 2010 to another residential area outside Bengaluru, even for a week there I never found any dust. Literally no dust on the vehicles. But now after 8 years, leave outside, even after closing the windows and doors It's been hectic to control the dust.

I shifted back from Europe this month. See, they don't "concretize" anything. First, that's just crazy, Second, that's selective murder of soil and nature. What I noticed is the following-
    1. The higher the temperature, the faster pollution travels.
The lower the temperature, the more likely a microscopic nanobody is to stay in intially stable and unchanged state and not be subject to higher microscopic granulation or fragmentation due to heat. We know that particles move faster in diverse directions in heat when compared to cold.
    2. Geostructure.
Pollutive particles usually move towards regions near the equatorial regions and that is why they are much more likely to face air pollution and global warming due to heat entrapment.
    3. Regional Air density
So, this is a cycle. Also, why the hell is everybody talking about covering everything in concrete? Do you realize it's going to increase heat and pollution?
    Solution-
    1. Growing and massive planting of Warneck Dracaena,
Bamboo palm plant, Snake plant and Holy Basil in homes. Also, massive tree plantations to prevent soil errosion.
    2. Preventing heat entrapment using simple tile building materials. You don't need marble flooring. A simple dark tile would keep things cooler and cleaner.
    3. Use of green algae nano lamps at public spaces. Prevents pollution, provides light, looks great.
    4. Developing and growing cultures of Microorganisms that live in soil.
They hold it. They look wiggly but all creatures must work together if we want to survive.
    5. Local Development of small lakes in every locality. No, not the swimming pool. We need to put actual marine life in there.
We must reconnect the lost dots of biosphere to bring down pollution and heat. We are not europeans. We don't have their climate, so their products won't produce equal results. What we have, we have. Let's work with that.

Every vacant space should have grass, plants, trees, crops, flowers etc or it should be paved. When people dust their homes, they sweep dust out in street which returns in few hours. This cycle goes on and on.. Local Governments should water spray twice a day on all city roads and streets...Natural dust is not very dangerous, man made dust is full of diseases.

Video me jo weather ke baare me explain kiya hai sab bakwaas hai. Only 10% weather pe depend hai. Example dubai ka le le. Wha ka weather india se bi worse hai. Magar waha kisi bhi colony ya main road pe dust nhi dikhegi.

Besides there is no holi festival. They have plentiful recycling of sewage water. So their water table is not going down year on year. In Maharashtra, few years back when there was widespread drought and when using the water hose was banned, his disciples were celebrating at the occasion of holi and frolicking with water supplied by water tankers . Even cricket ground in Mumbai was debating if they should use the water to keep the grass green.
But holi may not be the main cause just like Diwali may not be the main cause of pollution, it adds to the problem and govt issues no guideline.
While China’s example is not ideal but it cancelled the number of celebrations this year. Even Britain has not allowed many things. Covid has empowered politicians more but in normal times, politicians do not show any spine.

@Truth Comes it is good for Amazon but for India, there is no rain forest. The dust and the sediments bought by Himalayan rivers bring the soil fertility to Indian plaines and crops. On the whole there is no solution even as there are more minus attributes. By the way, India’s own thar desert sand is also adding to the overall dust .

You covered almost all reasons, but I’d like to add one more. In Northern Plains of India, the type of soil found is the Alluvial soil. This is a very light soil which has been deposited in the region over the years by the great Himalayan rivers. A faint breeze is enough to lift this fine dust and deposit it around. Also, movement of vehicles makes this dust even finer, thus making it even lighter to be lifted by tyres of moving vehicles and blowing wind. In the absence of green patches and grasses due to constant movement of people and vehicle, this dust never settles and make the northern part of the country extremely dusty. This phenomenon is less seen in regions with heavier soil like the areas with Red, Yellow and black soils. Due to these soils beng heavier for the wind to lift, this dustyness is comparatively very less in Central and Southern India.
