No doubt when it comes to practicality bmw 5 series goes way ahead then mercedes E class , and bmw 5 series is deadly 🙂🙂 , specially when it comes to driving
I just had the struggle this week, had to make the decision between those two. I ended up going with the E class. Performance and speed are superior in the 5 series, it also has more gadgets for the price, at least here in Mexico. But the E class is just way more comfortable and elegant. It was not easy, but that is the decision we made.

530i is bizzare road shuttle but it deserves a 6-pot motor for enhanced driving pleasure.
Although, the 255hp 400Nm is very good output for a 530i.
But my pick will be the 530d anyday due to its 3.0L 6-pot motor with 262horses 620Nm 🔥🔥
Actually the 530i produces less power and torque than the 330i.

I bought a x3 30i 2 weeks ago & it's plenty powerful. Same as 530i. It's not just about power , it's how the power gets put on the road & with mechanicals that bmw has, it does it brilliantly. We aren't on race tracks to go manic. 530d is good but on our roads, it all gets levelled up.
