I am loving that you're offering new Oxygen videos. We've run our agency with Elementor for quite awhile, and I've decided it's time to make the switch. The way that things are going with Elementor, I don't see them cleaning up the bloat - whether it's the DOM elements or required plugins for basic functionality - that comes along with complicated Elementor sites anytime soon. They've targeted the general consumer audience, which is fine, but Oxygen is clearly the choice when it comes to cleaning up sites as a developer. I've personally garnered much of my Elementor knowledge from your work, and I'm happy to see that you've got some more of these Oxygen tutorials lined up for the future!

I am hooked on Oxygen. All that talk of it being complicated... Well, I know a little about CSS classes and now I get to put into action. I am addicted (like a kid who just got a toy car for xmas).

@@WPTuts Thank you Paul. In term of licensing... Oxygen is better but Elementor is fantastic page builder. Ease of use is awesome, drag and drop feature and interface design is super easy to use. In Oxygen they need to improve the interface & should make more flat design. May be you can suggest those things to the developers. They might listen as you are an experienced wordpress developer. I bought Oxygen after your first video... I'm finishing up a project, but I'm so excited to dig in deeper with Oxygen. I have been feeling annoyed by page speed and loads of plugins with my Elementor projects. I'd love to see what you recommend for a JetFilter alternative to go with Oxygen. Thanks for the great videos and opening my eyes to this!!
Great to hear that the initial video opened your eyes to some of the opportunities that this could offer you. I am going to be looking into filtering and search tools for sure, so stick with this series of videos as I expand what's covered as I learn more about the software. :0)
I notice that for dynamic content Oxygen uses ACF shortcodes for dynamic data. Since JetEngine has shortcodes setup for fields couldn't JetEngine and then hopefully Jet Smart Filters be used with Oxygen Builder?

I've not tested the WooCommerce options out yet. I'm still getting to grips with the way O2 works, so will investigate WC integration a little later. :0)
Thanks Paul for the video. Keep in mind that for the conditions, when selecting is not blank, you don't have to select anything for the 3rd filed. Oxygen has the code block element, which is super powerful for custom php when using ACF
For basic stuff yeah go for oxygen, for pro stuff you need to use more tools and be able to, at least, understand php, JScript basics. //Im using elementor, croco, acf, and some plugs i coded myself. ...
Just discovered now this Video. It doens't sound real. To have custom fields in Blog/Post cards in Divi you need to re-write some PHP in the theme code or you need to buy a premium plugin Add-on. It looks unreal.

I have a feeling this is the start of a wave of Elementor defectors to Oxygen. O2 solves a lot of frustrations with Elementor.

I really like OXYGEN and Blocksy.
One of the many reasons why Oxygen is a far better choice than Elementor etc. Built ground up with the right architecture.
