Nice! Finally this confirms that you don't have to discharge the AC system to remove the compressor to replace tensioner You could just move it away to make room to remove the tensioner bolts.

Thank you so much for this video! Not sure if I missed it, but did you have to take any of the radiator hoses off? Thanks again and good job!

Well done. Nice camera angles. Would you recommend changing it with car over 200,000. I will be replacing the alternator, and was thinking of doing tensioner too. Thank you for sharing.

Love my camry 3.5L BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO BUILD A CAR WHERE THE BELT IS A BREEZE TO CHANGE BUT THE STUPID BELT TENSIONER IS A NIGHTMARE. smh

All you have to is replace the bearing on the tensioner. Not the whole tensioner

The whole tensioner had to be replaced on this one. The tensioner's arm was creating the squeaking noise due to there being an excessive gap. The tensioner's bearing had nothing to do with the noise.

I just replaced the tensioner pulley on my 2007 Sienna and the noise remains. I should have tried the trick at the beginning of the video so that I would know that it was the tensioner itself.
